Cutting device and label printer
A cutting device includes a fixed blade and a movable blade that slides past the fixed blade during cutting, and a cleaning tool with an adhesive removing element that comes into contact with a surface of the movable blade that faces the fixed blade during the cutting.
Kitchen slicer and applicator
The invention relates to a kitchen slicer for slicing material to be cut, like fruit, vegetables or the like. In a kitchen slicer according to the invention, the applicator is incorporated to act through the guide surface. The invention additionally relates to an applicator for a kitchen slicer which is configured according to the invention as an attachment piece or as an exchangeable component.
CAST SAW TEMPERATURE SAFETY AND BURN REDUCTION SYSTEM
Apparatus is provided for a medical cutting device, specifically, a cast removal apparatus designed for the removal of orthopedic casts generally applied for immobilization, which apparatus comprises a temperature safety system and/or a burn reduction system. The use of any saw for cast removal creates a potential for patient discomfort and iatrogenic injury, including but not limited to burns which can leave unsightly scars and wound complications. The apparatuses presented comprise a housing for a temperature control system and motor, which motor can be controlled by the temperature control system to control a cast saw blade, with at least one temperature sensor to sense temperature information regarding at least one cutting region of the blade. The temperature information is used by the temperature control system to control the motor. The apparatuses presented comprise a burn reduction system with cast saw blade coolant or lubricant and coolant or lubricant applicators.
CAST SAW LUBRICATION AND BURN REDUCTION SYSTEM
CUTTING TOOL
A cutting tool which can cause a fluid to reliably hit a cutting edge is provided even with a simple configuration.
A cutting tool includes a holder, a cutting insert having a cutting edge and mounted on the holder, and an ejecting portion which ejects a fluid from an ejection port toward the cutting edge. The ejection port is formed so as to eject the fluid toward a region including the cutting edge and extending in a predetermined direction.
CUTTING APPARATUS
A cutting apparatus includes a processing feed direction determining mechanism. The processing feed direction determining mechanism includes an imaging unit 28 that images a region including a cut groove and a recording unit that records chipping data of the imaged cut groove. The recording unit records first chipping data of a cut groove formed by cutting a workpiece from a first direction, second chipping data of a cut groove formed by cutting the workpiece from a direction opposite from the first direction, third chipping data of a cut groove formed by cutting the workpiece from a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, and fourth chipping data of a cut groove formed by cutting the workpiece from a direction opposite from the second direction.
PEPPER DE-STEMMING METHODS AND APPARATUS
A way of dealing with challenges to the pepper processing industry and pepper growers is to mechanize pepper processing, including the de-stemming of whole peppers. The present example provides a method for mechanically de-stemming whole peppers. The method provides for the recognition of a pepper's shoulder and or interior regions and stem in order to generate a control signal to initiate a process to de-stem the pepper. In particular, several implementations of the method are provided that may include a mechanical system, a laser system, a machine vision system, a combination of a machine vision system and the laser system, and other equivalent implementations. Additionally disclosed, are methods of processing whole peppers utilizing automated de-stemming.
Splitting of thick hard-foam plates
The present invention relates to a method for cutting rigid foams, especially slabstock P(M)I foams. A method is provided here, by means of which it is possible to cut these rigid foams even in relatively high layer thicknesses of, for example, more than 3 mm, without material loss, which is produced in relevant amounts, for example, in the course of sawing as a result of the sawdust formed.
Ultrasonic cutting machine with automated blade cleaning system
An ultrasonic cutting machine including a support structure, a positioning device moveable relative to the support structure, a cutting blade connected to the positioning device and a blade cleaning system positioned proximate the support structure, the blade cleaning system including a basin defining an internal volume and an opening into the internal volume, a solvent positioned in the internal volume, a cleaning surface positioned in the internal volume, wherein the cleaning surface is at least partially submerged in the solvent, and a lid positioned over the opening, wherein the lid is automatically displaced from the opening when the cutting blade approximates the basin.
CUTTING APPARATUS
A cutting apparatus includes a cutting liquid supply nozzle disposed adjacent to a cutting unit, for supplying a cutting liquid to a point of contact between a cutting blade and a workpiece, and a rust inhibitor supply nozzle for supplying a rust inhibitor to the workpiece to prevent electrodes of devices divided from the workpiece from being rusted, the rust inhibitor supply nozzle having a length along a Y-axis in excess of the width of the workpiece along the Y-axis.
