The cutlery apparatus includes a support member that is planar in manner having an upper surface and a perimeter edge. A first brace member and a second brace member are mounted to the upper surface of the support member and further include a void therebetween. The first brace member and second brace member are parallel to each other and angularly oriented on the support member. A cutting member is provided wherein the cutting member has a first portion disposed within the void and a second portion extending beyond the perimeter edge of the support member. The second portion of the cutting member is a metal blade. A clamp member extends across the void and is movably secured to the first brace member and second brace member.
ADJUSTABLE PRELOAD SEVERANCE CUTTER FOR EJECTION SYSTEMS
A severance cutter may comprise a housing and a blade may be coupled to the housing. A restraint support may be configured to translate relative to the blade. A spring may be configured to bias a support opening defined by the restraint support away from the blade.
MANUAL FOOD PROCESSOR WITH REMOVABLE CARTRIDGES
The manual food processor includes a first shelf configured to receive a blade cartridge. The first shelf includes a first slider configured to selectively retain the blade cartridge at the first shelf. The manual food processor also includes a pair of guide rails extending from the first shelf and a second shelf slidable along the pair of guide rails. The second shelf is configured to receive a pusher block cartridge and includes a second slider configured to selectively retain the pusher block cartridge at the second shelf. The manual food processor also includes a handle mechanism operable to cause the second shelf to slide along the guide rails between an open position and a closed position. The first shelf is spaced apart from the second shelf in the open position, and the pusher block cartridge interfaces with the blade cartridge in the closed position.
Pipe splitting apparatus with replaceable blade
Pipe splitting apparatuses and systems including a replaceable blade, and methods therefor, are provided. In various examples, a pipe splitting apparatus includes an outer surface including a recess. A blade including a portion is disposed within the recess. A hardenable material is disposed within the recess. The hardenable material is configured to flow upon application to fill empty space within the recess and at least partially around the portion of the blade disposed within the recess. The hardenable material is further configured to harden after application to secure the portion of the blade within the recess and fix the blade to the pipe splitting apparatus.
Cutting head for a centrifugal cutting apparatus and centrifugal cutting apparatus equipped with same
A method of adjusting a rake-off angle in a centrifugal cutting head includes mounting a plurality of cutting stations on a rim structure with a gap between adjacent cutting stations, each cutting station holding a cutting element at a leading end of the cutting station and comprising an inner surface extending from the leading end to a trailing end forming a product sliding surface along which food product slides between successive cuts; and adjusting the rake-off angle by adjusting a rear part of the product sliding surface at a trailing end of at least one cutting station without changing the leading end.
LABEL CUTTER
A label cutter including a blade having a curved cutting edge configured and arranged to move towards a platen in order to cut a label material placed between them. The label cutter has a force applicator arranged and configured to apply a force to a portion of the blade in the direction of the platen. The label cutter includes an actuator operatively coupled to the force applicator and operable to cause the force applicator to move. The force applicator is moveable in order to, in use, apply a force to consecutive portions of the blade in the direction of the platen so as to provide a rolling engagement between the blade and the platen. A label issuing device including a label cutter is also provided.
Cutting heads, cutting machines equipped therewith, and methods of operation
Cutting heads and machines equipped therewith. The cutting heads include axially-spaced annular-shaped structural members and circumferentially-spaced support segments between the structural members. Each support segment has a leading edge and a trailing edge, a knife support surface defined on an inner surface region adjacent the leading edge of the support segment, and a gate located adjacent the trailing edge of the support segment. A knife assembly is located adjacent the leading edge of each support segment. Each knife assembly includes a holder opposing one of the knife support surfaces of the support segments and adapted to clamp a knife between the holder and knife support surface. The cutting head may further have camming units that secure the support segments between the structural members, camming units that clamp the knives to the knife support surfaces, and/or adjustment pins that deflect the gates of the support segments.
POWER TOOL
A power tool includes a housing, a spindle, a clamp shaft, a first biasing member, an engagement member, a first holding member, a manually operable member and a push-down member. The first biasing member biases the clamp shaft upward. The first holding member holds the engagement member to be movable between a first position and a second position in the up-down direction relative to the first holding member. The manually operable member moves a first one of the engagement member and the first holding member downward in response to a manual unclamping operation. The engagement member moves from the first position to the second position to be movable in the radial direction in response to the manual unclamping operation. The first one of the engagement member and the first holding member pushes down a tool accessory via the push-down member while the first one is moving downward.
SPRING-DAMPER ELEMENT FOR THE MOUNTNG OF A PUNCHING PRESS
The invention relates to a spring-damper element (2) for mounting a punching press (1), with a hydraulic damper unit (3) with a first fluid chamber (4) and a second fluid chamber (5), wherein, in the intended operation, a hydraulic fluid is displaced from the first fluid chamber (4) via a throttle point (6) into the second fluid chamber (5) when the spring-damper element (2) is compressed. The damper unit further comprises an overload valve (7) arranged between the first fluid chamber (4) and the second fluid chamber (5), which overload valve opens when a specific fluid pressure is reached in the first fluid chamber (4) or when a specific pressure difference is reached between the first fluid chamber (4) and the second fluid chamber (5) and releases a bypass (8) via which hydraulic fluid then flows from the first fluid chamber (4) into the second fluid chamber (5) bypassing the throttle point (6). Thereby, the spring-damper element (2) is designed in such a way that the fluid pressure or the pressure difference, respectively, at which the overload valve (7) opens can be adjusted when the spring-damper element (2) is installed as intended. With such spring-damper elements according to the invention, it becomes possible to create a mounting arrangement for a punching press, the damping characteristics of which can be adjusted without significant effort, such that a variable operation of the press in wide ranges becomes possible while keeping the ground loading to a minimum in each case.
Food processor with adjustable blade assembly
A food processor includes a bowl with a removable lid. Food items are advanced into the bowl through a feed tube formed in the lid where they are cut by a blade assembly. A rotating disk is adjustable relative to the blade assembly to vary the thickness of the food items cut by the blade assembly.
