Bands of retroreflective targets and methods of making same
This disclosure relates generally to photogrammetry, and, more particularly, to retroreflective targets used in photogrammetry for measurement of objects being photographed.
Precision drywall punch
According to the present invention, an apparatus is provided that allows cutting an opening in a material, such as a wall or surface, while accurately controlling the depth of penetration so as not to damage or destroy any existing materials behind the wall or surface, and also without needing equal access behind the wall or surface. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the apparatus includes a support block assembly having a thickness and at least one primary surface, the at least one primary surface defining a perimeter of the support block assembly; and one or more cutting blades coupled to the support block assembly in at least one location and extending away from the at least one primary surface, the one or more cutting blades being arranged in a closed plane orientation and each being coupled to the support block assembly such that the one or more cutting blades extend away from the at least one primary surface at an inset distance relative to the perimeter of the support block assembly. In another preferred embodiment, the apparatus includes one or more levels. And in another preferred embodiment, the apparatus includes a handle.
Keeper plate alignment arrangement for punch press
A punch press quick tool change system comprising a reciprocally movable upper support member arranged on a punch press frame. The system also includes a lower support member arranged on the punch press frame. A pair of tool gripping members are arranged on the upper support member and also on the lower support member. The tool gripping members comprises a 1.sup.st pair of spaced-apart parallel keeper positioners secured to the upper support member for securing the tool gripping arrangement plate adjustably against the upper support member. A 2.sup.nd pair of parallel keeper positioners are secured to the lower support member for securing a 2.sup.nd tool gripping plate adjustably against the lower support member.
DIE CUTTER HOLDING AND LIFTING APPARATUS
Die cutter holding and lifting systems, apparatuses, and methods are disclosed for use with custom and commercially available die cutters. According to some examples, a system includes a base, a separation assembly, and an actuation assembly. A separation assembly can be coupled to the die cutter, and the die cutter in combination with the separation assembly can be coupled to the base, such that the actuation assembly can be utilized to cause a separation of die plates of the die cutter for increased productivity in cutting, stamping, or pressing operations involving die cutters.
Method and device for producing an optical coupling element made of elastomer
A method for producing an optical coupling element made of elastomer includes filling a free-flowing elastomer formulation or its constituents into a mold so as to produce a flat sheet whose thickness is adapted to a thickness of the optical coupling element that is to be produced. The elastomer formulation or its constituents is cured to form an inherently stable elastomer. Individual optical coupling elements are cut out of the flat sheet.
Wood test tool and method for visually checking a wood object
The present invention relates to a wood test tool (1) for punching out and visually checking the core of a wood sample. The wood test tool (1) has a hollow cylindrical pin (11), comprising at one end an input opening (12) which corresponds to the inner diameter of the hollow cylinder, and at the other end a flattened head (13) as well as a viewing window (14), said viewing window extending over at least two thirds along the length of the hollow cylinder starting from the end of the hollow cylindrical pin (11) on the side of the input opening. Further disclosed is a method for checking the impregnation depth of an impregnated wood object (4).
Rotary tool ejection technology
A rotary tool ejection technology utilizing air to eject contents from the dies of a rotary cylinder. The dies include orifices positioned therein. The orifices are assembled with porous material. The orifices are capable of receiving air from an internal chamber and delivering it to the outer surface of a rotary cylinder. Air is supplied to the internal chamber by an internal shaft. The internal shaft contains a channel in fluid communication with outlets extending radially outward from the channel to locations on the outer surface of the shaft. The shaft is optionally assembled with a manifold having a conduit. The conduit is positioned for intermittent alignment with the orifices in the rotary cylinder as the rotary cylinder rotates relative to the manifold.
Continuous Motion Induction Sealer Rotary Die & Vacuum Conveyor
A continuous motion induction sealer rotary die and vacuum conveyor operates by pulling film thorough a rotary die assembly comprising a die and anvil geared together to rotate against each other cutting film patches from the film and securing them to the anvil surface via a vacuum pressure. The anvil then continues rotating to deposit the film patches onto a vacuum conveyor releasing the anvil vacuum to facilitate the transfer. The vacuum conveyor then conveys the film patches to an induction seal head and directs air pressure under the patch to transfer it to the induction seal head which secures the film patch via vacuum pressure while transferring and sealing the film patch to a container.
Cutting device and method for manufacturing a cutting punch
The disclosure relates to a cutting device which is adapted for cutting substantially round packaging corners from a film web, wherein the cutting device has at least one cutting tool comprising a cutting punch which has at its outside at least one concavity provided for forming a cutting edge of the cutting punch. According to the disclosure, the cutting edge has a cutting contour extending both transversely and longitudinally along the cutting punch. The disclosure further relates to a method for manufacturing a cutting punch.
DEVICE FOR CUTTING ARTIFICIAL ANUS PROTECTION PLATE
Provided is a device for cutting an artificial anus protection plate. The device includes: a protection plate support part having a support part in which a coupling rod passing through the artificial anus protection plate and having a male screw section formed on the outer peripheral surface thereof is installed, and which supports the artificial anus protection plate; and a rotary pressing part including a cutting part, which has a circular blade for boring a hole in the artificial anus protection plate at a preset diameter, and a pressing body, which has a female screw section passing through the cutting part and screw-coupled to the male screw section of the coupling rod, and presses the cutting part toward the support part by means of rotation.
