Support assembly for a core drill
10786852 · 2020-09-29 · ·

A support assembly for a core drill uses an improved reinforcement. The reinforcement can include an extension extending between a center of the tool and a perimeter of the tool the extension can be a non-planar structure having a channel along a portion of the structure. The reinforcement can include a slanted element that can be associated with the extension, that can be formed monolithic with the extension, or otherwise combined with an extension. Multiple slanted elements can be used to form an extension. A top plate can be included for strengthening the reinforcement.

Portable sawmill

A sawmill includes a four-stroke internal combustion engine having an output shaft for driving a sawblade. The output shaft has a longitudinal axis. The engine is mounted on the sawmill for rotation between a first operative position with the longitudinal axis of the output shaft extending at a first angle, and a second operative position with the longitudinal axis of the output shaft extending at a second angle transversely to the first angle. The engine has fuel injection to facilitate operation in the first and second operative positions and a lubrication system incorporating a wet sump. An oil pick up for the lubrication system is configured to pick up oil from the wet sump at both the first and second operative positions.

Holder for a rotary tool, for example one hole saw
10661354 · 2020-05-26 · ·

Holder for a rotary tool which holder is formed with a holder body comprising a rear drive end and a front connection end having a connection thread for the connection of the tool. The holder comprises a thrust collar having a flat contact surface facing a connection end of the holder. The holder comprises an axially movable operating means, a number of restraint elements placed in one or more spaces in the holder body which restraint elements in a first axial position of the operating means are prevented from radial movement in said spaces and which restraint elements in a second axial position of the operating means allow radial movement in said spaces. Each one of said spaces for the restraint elements is limited in the axial direction by a front limiting wall and a rear limiting wall, which two limiting walls are parts of the holder body.

LEVELLING APPARATUS FOR GANG SAWS

A levelling apparatus for use in gang saws comprises first and second wedge portions. The first wedge portion comprises upper and lower surfaces, wherein the lower surface is nonparallel to the upper surface. The first wedge portion further comprises a plurality of openings for accepting mounting fasteners. The openings are arranged in a spaced, circular pattern about a centre of the first wedge portion. The second wedge portion also comprises upper and lower surfaces, wherein the upper surface is nonparallel to the lower surface. The second wedge portion further also comprises a plurality of openings for accepting the mounting fasteners. The second wedge openings correspond to the first wedge openings Rotation of the first wedge portion with respect to the second wedge portion varies an angle between the first wedge upper surface and the second wedge lower surface, thereby allowing for angular adjustment.

BELT TENSIONING APPARATUS FOR MATERIAL REMOVAL MACHINES
20200072324 · 2020-03-05 ·

Apparatus, systems, and/or methods for adjusting belt tension in a material removal machine are disclosed. In some examples, the material removal machine includes a material removal tool secured on a spindle. A spindle pulley may be secured to the spindle, such that rotation of the spindle pulley causes the material removal tool to be rotated via the spindle. The material removal machine may further include a movable hub that retains the spindle, such that movement of the hub translated into movement of the spindle. Because the spindle pulley is securely attached to the spindle, movement of the hub may translate into movement of the spindle pulley. This movement of the spindle pulley may change a distance between the spindle pulley and an actuator pulley, thereby changing the tension in a belt connecting the spindle pulley and the actuator pulley.

Tool free bolt system for a saw blade

A bolt assembly (100) enables a user to change a circular blade (160) on a power tool (200) without the use of tools. The bolt assembly includes a bolt body (110) that has a bolt head (132) and a shank (136) that extends axially from the bolt head. The bolt head has a shoulder and the shank has external threads that mate with a threaded bore (220) of a drive shaft (212) of the power tool. A grip body (130) is formed circumferentially around the bolt head to facilitate rotation of the bolt body by the user's hand. An upper washer (114), a needle roller thrust bearing (116), and a lower washer (118) are positioned on the bolt head and retained with a retaining clip (120). The bolt body is rotated to press the lower washer against a clamping surface of the circular blade. The bolt assembly permits rotation of the lower washer relative to the bolt body without rotating the bold body.

Guard tube for supporting a drive shaft of a hand-guided power tool
10531610 · 2020-01-14 · ·

A guard tube assembly for a drive shaft of a power tool has a guard tube with a tube cross section deviating from a circular shape and having an inner contour and a center. An inner support tube inside the guard tube supports the drive shaft. The inner support tube has a bearing sleeve supported by support elements on the inner contour. The inner contour has a first and a second circumferential section. The first circumferential section has a smallest spacing to the center and the second circumferential section has a largest spacing to the center. The elastic support elements have a contact surface contacting the inner contour and spaced at a contact surface spacing to the center. The contact surface spacing is longer than the smallest spacing of the first circumferential section and shorter than or identical to the largest spacing of the second circumferential section.
