The invention is directed to a machine tool for edge machining a workpiece. The machine tool includes a drive unit for a rotary tool, a guide device for guiding the workpiece in a horizontal infeed direction and a chip collecting hood. The guide device includes an upper pressure element and a lower pressure element and one of the pressure elements is settable in the vertical direction relative to the other pressure element and also the drive unit. The chip collecting hood includes a side wall having a cutout for receiving an edge region to be machined of the workpiece. The side wall includes a base wall part and a closure wall part. The base wall part is positioned fixedly relative to the drive unit and the closure wall part is positioned fixedly relative to the pressure element to be settable in the vertical direction. The closure wall part delimits the cutout in the vertical direction.
Work table fence assembly and sled therefor
A sled assembly configured to push stock along a fence includes a carriage and rollers mounted at spaced apart positions. The rollers engage the fence to guide movement of the carriage therealong and each has a peripheral portion for being received in a fence race. An adjustable roller mount selectively adjusts the position of the roller to align the peripheral portions of the rollers with the width of the race. An adjustable fence assembly includes an outfeed fence movable relative to an infeed fence. An outfeed fence adjustment mechanism includes mounting posts at spaced apart locations along the length of the outfeed fence movable to drive movement of the outfeed fence along an axis transverse to the feed direction.
Structure of power carpentry feeder machine
A power carpentry feeder machine includes a power source; a rotary wheel operatively coupled to the power source; horizontal guide rods horizontally coupled to the power source; a horizontal movement unit including two movable blocks having horizontal guide holes to receive the horizontal guide rods therein, locking members attached to the movable blocks, a connection block interposed between the two movable blocks and including vertical guide holes, and jointing members jointing the movable blocks to the connection block; a mounting base including a base board and vertical guide rods vertically coupled to the base board and extending through the vertical guide holes; and a vertical movement unit including springs encompassing the vertical guide rods to set the connection block under the springs and a clamp block having clamping holes to receive the vertical guide rods to extend therethrough so as to set the clamp block on the springs.

Power device
A power device includes a power tool, a mounting plate, a mounting table, a positioning assembly, and a locking assembly. The positioning assembly includes a positioning piece. A positioning space is formed between the positioning piece and the mounting table. An end of the mounting plate is enabled to be inserted into the positioning space so that the mounting plate is pre-positioned. The locking assembly includes a movable piece and a locking piece. The movable piece includes a support position where the mounting plate is supported and an unlocked position where support for the mounting plate is released. The locking piece fixes at least the mounting plate to the mounting table.
SYSTEM FOR LOCATING FENCES ON DRILL PRESS AND ROUTER TABLES
According to one embodiment, a system for locating a drill press or router table fence comprises a center-post insert having a protrusion located in a central portion of the center-post insert, a center-point template having a plurality of openings sized to closely receive the center-post insert, wherein the openings are located at a range of predetermined distances, and a fence having a securing mechanism, the fence located at a distance set by the center-point template, wherein the center-point template is placed on the center-post insert at a chosen opening, and the fence is secured against the center-point template at a distance determined by the chosen opening.
Clamping device for an adjustable stop of a processing machine, particularly a moulding machine, and processing machine, particularly moulding machine, with a clamping device
A clamping device for an adjustable stop of a processing machine for guiding workpieces through the processing machine is provided with at least one clamping part that clamps the stop against at least one counter stop. The clamping part is provided on a transmission element, wherein the transmission element is acted upon with a force (F.sub.1) that is converted into a clamping force (F.sub.2) acting upon the clamping part. A release unit is provided for releasing the clamping action. The transmission element is a two-armed lever, one arm of which is acted upon with the force (F.sub.1) in the form of a compressive force and the other arm of which generates the clamping force (F.sub.2).

Power feeder and fence for inverted routers
An electrically powered work piece feeder for use with inverted routers or small shapers incorporates improvements in adjustability which enhances accuracy, convenience, and safety in the use of such power tools. The powered feeder element mounts on a table fence and has an inverted roller suspended over the table adjacent a working face. Mounting structure permits positional adjustment of the roller in spatial relation to the power tool cutter and a workpiece on the table so as to propel the workpiece on the table over the power tool cutter and along the working face in the direction of the longitudinal feed axis. An out-feed section may be provided on the fence that includes inner and outer wedge-shaped ramps movable with respect to one another along the longitudinal feed axis and adapted to be locked together, thus allowing slow and precise advancement of the outer ramp toward the router.
