ELECTRIC WORK MACHINE
An electric work machine (1) includes a motor (1), a manipulatable part (9), a control part (20) configured to perform a first braking control and a second braking control that differ from each other, and a kickback-detection part (20, S30) that detects whether kickback has occurred. The control part energizes the motor in response to detection of user-manipulation of the manipulatable part. In response to detection of kickback, the control part performs the first braking control and thereby causes the motor to generate a first braking force. In response to detection of a state change of the manipulatable part to an unmanipulated or OFF state, the control part performs the second braking control and thereby causes the motor to generate a second braking force, which is weaker than the first braking force.

Foldable miter saw with safety device
A foldable miter saw with safety device includes a base unit having a working surface and an axial holder, and a cutting unit including a rotating member, a blade, a driving unit and a safety assembly that has a safety switch and a safety member. When the safety switch is not operated, the driving unit cannot drive the blade to rotate. During the period when the rotating member rotates to drive the blade from a working position to a folded position, a free end of the safety member can be rotated downward under the action of gravity, so that the safety member can rotate to an anti-touch position where the free end is relatively close to the safety switch so that the safety switch cannot be operated, and the driving unit cannot drive the blade to rotate, which can avoid accidentally touching the blade to rotate.
Portable cutting machine
An operation member has a higher degree of design freedom in, for example, the position and the amount of displacement of an operation part, and the force used for operation. A portable cutting machine includes a base, an electric motor, a blade rotatable by the electric motor, a movable cover covering a lower part of the blade protruding downward from the base and rotatable to be open, an operation lever located frontward from a rotation center of the blade and rotatable, and a transmission lever rotatable to push and open the movable cover when pushed by the operation lever.

DUST GUARD FOR CIRCULAR SAWS
An improved design for a dust shroud providing an airflow conduit for collecting dust off a work piece and a saw blade is disclosed. The dust shroud is configured with either one or two extending and telescoping lower rigid jaws that are durable and can engage a work piece at different angles. A novel roller is additionally provided for moving along a work piece.

TRACK SAW ASSEMBLY
A track saw assembly is provided including a track saw (i.e., a circular saw) having a shoe translatable upon a track. Various mechanisms control plunging of a saw unit and saw blade of the track saw relative to the shoe. For example, a plunge lockout mechanism is provided to prevent engagement of a trigger and prevent movement of a plunge mechanism. Various mechanisms control bevel angle adjustment of the saw unit relative to the shoe. For example, a linkage is provided and is operable to shift between a first position and a second position. In the first position, a bevel angle is restricted within a first bevel angle range. In the second position, the bevel angle is restricted within an expanded second bevel angle range. Other concepts relate to the interface between the shoe and the track and a clamp which secures the track to a workpiece.

A Battery for Insertion in a Hand-Held Work Tool and a Hand-Held Work Tool Comprising a Battery
A battery (1800) for insertion into a battery compartment (150) of a hand-held work tool (100, 200), wherein the battery (1800) has a weight between 3-7 kg, and comprises a groove (1810) arranged on one side of the battery to mate with a corresponding supporting heel (1710) arranged on a wall of a battery compartment (150). The battery further comprises an upper ridge structure (1820) and a lower ridge structure (1830) arranged on an opposite side of the battery compared to the groove (1810), wherein the ridge structures (1820, 1830) are arranged to mate with corresponding dove-tail grooves (1720, 1730) of the battery compartment (150).
