Single collection bag blood collection system, method and apparatus

A blood or blood component collection and processing system, apparatus and method are disclosed. One embodiment includes a vascular access device and a blood collection container having a blood inlet and first and second blood component outlets. The outlets are located at opposite ends of the container, and a blood flow conduit extends between the vascular access device and collection container. The collection container is free of attachment to other blood collection containers when in an initial collection configuration at the time of collection.

The present disclosure relates to a wound management assembly. The wound management assembly comprises a housing and an exudate collector received in the housing. A gap is defined between the housing and the exudate collector to form a channel for fluid passage, wherein the fluid passes into and through the exudate collector and radially enters the channel.

ADIPOSE TISSUE COMBINATIONS, DEVICES, AND USES THEROF

Described are devices, systems, and methods for processing adipose tissue for reintroduction into a body. In some embodiments, adipose tissue is mixed with an additive prior to reintroduction.

COLLECTION DEVICE FOR USE IN IRRIGATION AND DRAINAGE PROCEDURES
20180104405 · 2018-04-19 ·

A fluid collection device includes a upper edge portion having a first end of a collection container having an outer surface where the upper edge portion defines an open top end. At least one adhesive surface may be attached to the outer surface of the collection container. A vacuum hose coupled to an outlet port extends from a second end of the collection container. A vacuum source applies a vacuum to the collection container through the vacuum hose.

CHEST DRAINAGE SYSTEMS AND METHODS

A chest drainage system including a collection device configured to receive fluid from the pleural cavity of a patient. A sensor is included to detect a pressure differential in the fluid. A display is configured to display a trend in occurrences of changes in pressure of the fluid over time in predetermined time increments based on a number of detections of pressure differentials that exceed a predetermined pressure differential during each of the predetermined time increments. The trend is correlative to the percentage of time that the patient is deemed to have an air leak in the pleural cavity in the predetermined time increments. The trend is derived from a ratio of the quantity of respiratory cycles of the patient for which the predetermined pressure differential is detected (QRC.sub.leak) in the predetermined time increments to the total quantity of respiratory cycles of the patient in respective predetermined time increments (QRC.sub.total).

Various irrigation fluid containment systems and components are disclosed. In some embodiments, the irrigation fluid containment system comprises a medical kit and/or an irrigation kit. In some embodiments, the irrigation fluid containment system comprises a medical basin and/or an irrigation basin. In some embodiments, the irrigation fluid containment system comprises an irrigation shield. In some embodiments, the irrigation fluid containment system comprises a suction hose.

BREAST MILK COLLECTION SYSTEM WITH BAG ATTACHMENT

A breast milk collection system includes a storage bag and at least one coupling member formed separately from the storage bag and defining a first side and a second side. The storage bag includes a storage chamber, a closure strip for selectively closing the storage chamber, two bag flaps each extending away from the closure strip, and two coupling components each coupled to a different one of the two bag flaps. Each of the two coupling components includes a plurality of flap protuberances. The first side of the at least one coupling member includes a plurality protuberances extending therefrom, and the second side of the at least one coupling member is at least partially covered with adhesive for selective application of the at least one coupling member to a breastpump apparatus. At least one of the two coupling components selectively couples with the at least one coupling member.

Adipose tissue combinations, devices, and uses thereof

Described are devices, systems, and methods for processing adipose tissue for reintroduction into a body. In some embodiments, adipose tissue is mixed with an additive prior to reintroduction.

Automated Fluid Output Monitoring

An apparatus and method for a fluid collection system and automated fluid flow monitoring. The system can include a urine collection container, and a detection device configured to detect a volume of fluid in the urine collection container. The detection device can be coupled to the collection container without having to compromise the integrity of the closed fluid collection system or re-catheterizing the patient. The detection device can be configured to detect an inversion event, tilt event, and the like to determine a flow rate of fluid into the container. The detection device can be communicatively coupled with external computing devices to alert a clinician when the container is nearing capacity and when it has been emptied.
