CLOSING A CHAMBER OF A CONTAINER FOR A PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCT
A device (1) for closing a chamber of a container having an opening for accessing the chamber comprises a plunger, a plunger seat (11), a container carrier (13) and a spacer (12). The plunger seat (11) releasably holds the plunger in a predefined alignment. The container carrier (13) is arranged to be connected to the container in a predefined position and alignment in relation to the opening of the container. The spacer (12) is arranged to position and align the plunger seat (11) adjacent to and distant from the container carrier (13) such that the opening of the container is open when the container is connected to the container carrier (13).
Enteral syringe
A syringe having a syringe body defining an elongate cavity therein with a non-circular internal cross-sectional profile, and a syringe plunger operable to selectively travel within the hollow cavity with a non-circular external cross-sectional profile that substantially mirrors the syringe body's internal cross-sectional profile for mating engagement thereof. The enteral syringe may also have venting features and support features for hanging from a support structure.
PEN NEEDLE MAGAZINE
A pen needle magazine (10) comprising a plurality of compartments (14) each carrying a pen needle (40), and a pen needle carrier (60) disposed in each of the plurality of compartments (14), the pen needle (40) disposed in the pen needle carrier (60), wherein the pen needle carrier (60) includes a first pen needle path (62) and a second pen needle path (64), the first pen needle path (62) aids in removing the pen needle (40), and the second pen needle path (64) aids in discarding a used pen needle (40).
STERILE TRANSFER OF FLUID
A syringe rack securable to a surface of a fixture and configured for facilitating a sterile transfer of fluid from a non-sterile environment to a sterile environment. The syringe rack includes a securing portion and a syringe-receiving station. The syringe-receiving portion is coupled to the securing portion and configured to receive the syringe in a selectively releasable coupling arrangement where the syringe is oriented such that an opening in a barrel of a syringe projects away from the fixture when the syringe is received by the syringe-receiving station and when the securing portion is secured to the surface of the fixture.
SYRINGE HOLDER
A syringe holder for holding and stabilizing syringes, the syringe holder comprising a base, and both a vertical mount and a horizontal mount extending from one side of the base. The vertical mount comprises a cylindrical cavity configured to receive and rotatably attach the syringe to the base such that the syringe is held to the base in a generally vertical orientation, while the horizontal mount comprises a lower barrel support and an upper barrel support configured to receive and rotatably attach the bottom end of the barrel and the top end of the barrel of the syringe to the base such that the syringe is held to the base in a generally horizontal orientation. In both orientations, the syringe holder of the present invention provides easy access to most of the exterior surfaces of the syringes and reduces safety hazards associated with creating sample defects on syringes for purposes of qualification testing for syringe inspectors.
PACKAGING FOR A MEDICAMENT CONTAINER
The present disclosure relates to a packaging for a medicament container, wherein the medicament container comprises at least one distal container abutment section and at least one proximal container abutment section, the packaging comprising: a bottom and a sidewall structure connected to the bottom, the bottom and the sidewall structure confining a storage space configured to accommodate at least one medicament container, at least one distal packaging abutment section, and at least one proximal packaging abutment section, wherein the at least one distal packaging abutment section is integrated into or arranged at one of the sidewall structure and the bottom and configured to abut with the at least one distal container abutment section, wherein the at least one proximal packaging abutment section is integrated into or arranged at the sidewall structure and configured to abut with the at least one proximal container abutment section.
System for accelerated testing of silicone drainage in syringes
A centrifugation approach used to accelerate current empirical methods used to investigate silicone drainage in syringes is disclosed. A siliconized syringe is placed into a holder of a centrifuge in a predefined orientation. Centrifugation of the syringe is activated at a predetermined G rate and for a period of intended simulation time and is ended as that time elapses. The time can be a function of intended simulation time, acceleration due to gravity, square of centrifuge revolution rate, and distance from center of rotor hub to matching point on the syringe barrel. One or more injection functionality parameters of the syringe is assessed after the elapsed period of time. A bucket fixture for retaining one or more syringes in the predefined orientation is also disclosed.
System comprising a pre-fillable syringe and a package for the pre-fillable syringe
System comprising a pre-fillable syringe with a syringe barrel and a syringe tip and a package suitable and intended for receiving the pre-fillable syringe, wherein the syringe tip is provided with a tip cap, wherein the system comprises a replacement cap for the pre-fillable syringe, wherein the package is suitable and intended for receiving the replacement cap.
Multi-use disposable system and syringe therefor
A syringe including a syringe body extending from a proximal end to a distal end, and a stabilizing element provided on the distal end of the syringe body, a portion of the stabilizing element extending substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the syringe body. A multi-use disposable set (MUDS) includes a plurality of syringes, each syringe having a syringe body, a proximal end, a distal end spaced apart from the proximal end along a longitudinal axis of the syringe body, a stabilizing element provided on the distal end, a portion of the stabilizing element extending substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the syringe body, and a manifold in fluid communication with the distal end of each of the plurality of syringes.
Holding device for holding a plurality of containers in a positive fit which is established by a displacement movement
A holding device is provided that has a base body having a plurality of openings in a first surface and a plurality of holding elements each having a movable surface. The plurality of holding elements are arranged with respect to the plurality of openings, respectively, such that a container extending in a respective opening of the plurality of openings is held by a respective one of the plurality of holding elements in a positive fit. The movable surface faces the container in a direction that is perpendicular to a height of the container. The holding element establishes the positive fit by a displacement movement of the movable surface. The displacement movement has a direction of movement that inclines an angle with the height of the container in a range from 60 to 120°.
