Needle insertion device
The present invention generally provides a device for inserting needles and alleviating the discomfort associated with needle insertion. In certain embodiments, the device is suited for injecting butterfly needles and particularly butterfly needles that are attached to infusion tubing. The patient or caregiver loads a butterfly needle with tubing attached into the base of the drive plunger. The needle with tubing attached is retracted into the housing of the device by retracting the inner plunger. Once retracted, the device is activated and ready to administer a needle into the tissue of a patient. The device is then placed on the location of the skin where injection is desired. The surface that contacts the skin may be textured and may include a contact switch that causes the device to vibrate when slight pressure is applied through contact with the skin. Two trigger buttons in the housing of the device may be depressed to eject the needle at an angle essentially perpendicular to the surface of the skin into the tissue of the patient concurrently with the textured pads contacting the skin and vibrating, distracting the patient from the needle insertion. The inner plunger of the device is then depressed toward the surface of the skin to release the needle from the device. The wings and body of the butterfly may be secured to the skin, for example, with an adhesive such as tape.

WINGUIDE needle guide
Disclosed is a device for facilitating placement of a central line in a patient, said device comprising: a housing having proximal and distal ends and a central portion therebetween, said housing having an upper portion and a lower portion; a handgrip provided on the proximal end of the housing, said handgrip having at least one of a channel and a through hole extending from the proximal end to the central portion, wherein the channel or through hole is sized to receive a guidewire; a feeder tip receiver provided on a proximal end of the handgrip in communication with the channel or through hole in said handgrip; a stabilizer provided on the lower portion of said housing; a luer slip tip provided on the distal end of the housing, said luer slip tip having a mounting portion for attachment to a needle hub, said luer slip tip having a lumen aligned with the channel or through hole in said handgrip; and a wire slide platform provided on the central portion of the housing.
AUTOMATIC INVASIVE DEVICE FOR BODY
The present invention relates to an automatic invasive device for body and, more particularly, to an automatic invasive device for body comprising a body press unit capable of pressing a human body part to detect a puncturing position. The present invention also relates to an automatic invasive device for body comprising at least one of a rotatable probe unit, a vacuum tube driving unit, and a body contact material supply unit. The automatic invasive device for body according to the present invention comprises: a syringe needle unit support part that supports a syringe needle that enters the body; and a press unit (500) that presses the body that has a site to be subjected to an invasive procedure.
Online, real-time mass vaccination and data collection system
A system for mass vaccination includes a plurality of portable electronic injectors, a mobile process manager and a database. Each portable electronic injector includes at least one needle to administer a measured amount of at least one vaccine to a body skin/tissue and an indicator system to provide an indication when either an injection error occurs or when a vaccination indication is required. The mobile process manager is in wireless communication with the plurality of injection devices and controls a mass vaccination. The process manager transmits task data to all injection devices in parallel via WI-FI, receives the vaccination indications from each injector in real time, also receives injection errors and vaccination process data, alerts a vaccination process overseer generally in real-time of the errors and transmits the injection data from each injector via cellular and/or internet transmission to the database.
DEVICE COMBINING POSITIONING AND INJECTION SYSTEMS FOR INJECTION WITHIN A BODY CAVITY
A device combining positioning and injection systems for injection within a body cavity, comprises: a tubular housing surrounding an accommodating space and having an opening hole fluidly connected to the accommodating space; a curved channel fluidly connected to the accommodating space and the opening hole; an injection needle disposed inside the accommodating space and the curved channel; the injection needle having a piercing portion penetrating through the opening hole and configured to extend outward from or retract inward into the opening hole; a plurality of ultrasonic transducers installed at the tubular housing and at two opposite sides of the opening hole; wherein at least one of the ultrasonic transducers being used to transmit a detection signal, and at least one of the ultrasonic transducers being used to receive the detection signal; a monitoring unit connected to the ultrasonic transducers via a transmission unit for information transmission therebetween.
Infusion set
A system for providing the collection of advanced, improved, and novel new components and elements in a single package to simplify assembly and use of the infusion set by the user, including one or more of an exemplary pushbutton-type inserter, squeeze-type inserter, contact-type inserter, skin pinching-type inserter, folding retraction-type inserter, and/or multistage-type inserter (700) having at least one reusable stage, an exemplary set (350) having an adhesion means with two or more user-selectable degrees of adhesion strength, a self-sealing tube connection means, a lens feature to view a site beneath the set, exemplary tube management and connection elements (450), insulin supply (475), adhesion concealment means (500), finger loops on the inserter and site preparation wipes or sprays (550) which can be provided as part of the inserter. Graft-port hemodialysis systems, devices, and methods
The disclosure relates to a subcutaneously implanted port device for establishing access to the vascular system of a patient requiring multiple blood treatments over an extended period of time. The systems, devices and methods disclosed herein may reduce miscannulation, promote intra-session hemostasis, and decrease the incidence of bacteremia and sepsis among other improvements and advantages. The devices include a port with a tapered seat for receiving an access tube, the first tapered seat having a proximal portion, a distal portion, and a conical section extending between the proximal portion and the distal portion; and an interface surface configured to engage a blood vessel or a vascular access catheter. The proximal portion of the tapered seat is configured to receive the access tube therethrough, and the tapered seat creates a mismatch fit with a diameter of the access tube when in use for an increase in flow during treatment.
