Tool assembly for manufacturing parts and a method of producing a tooling assembly
A mold assembly for use in manufacturing parts includes a first and second mold halves and a mold temperature control system. The first mold half comprises at least a first mold cavity and a first coolant passage. The second mold half comprising at least a second mold cavity and a second coolant passage. The mold temperature control system is in fluid communication with the first and second coolant passages of the first and second mold half. The mold temperature control system comprises a fluid, a means to control the temperature of the fluid, and a pump to circulate the fluid through the mold temperature control system and the first and second coolant passages.

Molding apparatus and process
A molding process includes the operation of placing insulation material comprising fibers and binder on the fibers in a mold cavity. The molding process further includes the step of transferring heat to the insulation material to cause the binder to cure.
Mold Core Structure
Provided is a mold core structure, which is arranged on a mold. The mold core structure includes a mold core body, which is a solid body made of three-dimensional printing, wherein one side of the mold core body is provided with a molding part, which is combined with an internal structure of the mold to form a cavity, there is a conformal air duct inside the mold core body, the conformal air duct has at least one main air duct and a plurality of secondary air ducts, the main air duct has a first end and a second end, the first end is located on one side of the mold core body, and connected to an external pneumatic control device, the pneumatic control device controls air to enter or exit the cavity through the conformal air duct, the second end thereof is located inside the mold core body, a path of the main air duct is freely wound around the molding part between the first end and the second end, one end of each of the secondary air ducts is communicated with the main air duct, and another end thereof is communicated with the molding part and disposed towards an ejection direction of a finished product. Accordingly, the finished product is released from the mold by controlling the air through the pneumatic control device.

Provided is a mold core structure, which is arranged on a mold. Cavity Mold and Cavity Mold System
A cavity mold comprises two or more sub-molds; and one or more gasket disposed between two adjacent sub-molds; wherein the gasket seals heating and cooling mediums when the cavity mold is assembled; wherein each of the two or more sub-molds comprises an outer casing; an inner casing on which a molded item is formed, wherein the cavity mold is assembled, a cavity is formed in the space between the outer casing and the inner casing; at least one heating/cooling mediums input pipe that is fluidly coupled with heating and cooling medium sources and the cavity, wherein heating and cooling mediums are pumped or compressed via the at least one heating/cooling mediums input pipe into the cavity, thereby the heating and cooling mediums pass through the cavity of the cavity mold; and at least one heating/cooling mediums return pipe that is fluidly coupled with the heating and cooling medium sources and the cavity, wherein the heating and cooling mediums are pumped via the at least one heating/cooling mediums return pipe out of the cavity; and wherein at least one of the two or more sub-molds further comprises a feed channel being through the outer casing and the inner casing; wherein the feed channel allows molding materials to be fed into the inside of the inner casing. A cavity mold system employs the cavity mold.
Cavity Mold and Cavity Mold System
A cavity mold comprises two or more sub-molds; and one or more gasket disposed between two adjacent sub-molds; wherein the gasket seals heating and cooling mediums when the cavity mold is assembled; wherein each of the two or more sub-molds comprises an outer casing; an inner casing on which a molded item is formed, wherein the cavity mold is assembled, a cavity is formed in the space between the outer casing and the inner casing; at least one heating/cooling mediums input pipe that is fluidly coupled with heating and cooling medium sources and the cavity, wherein heating and cooling mediums are pumped or compressed via the at least one heating/cooling mediums input pipe into the cavity, thereby the heating and cooling mediums pass through the cavity of the cavity mold; and at least one heating/cooling mediums return pipe that is fluidly coupled with the heating and cooling medium sources and the cavity, wherein the heating and cooling mediums are pumped via the at least one heating/cooling mediums return pipe out of the cavity; and wherein at least one of the two or more sub-molds further comprises a feed channel being through the outer casing and the inner casing; wherein the feed channel allows molding materials to be fed into the inside of the inner casing. A cavity mold system employs the cavity mold.

A mold for casting a polymeric aircraft window panel includes a first mold half having a first mold surface, and a second mold half having a second mold surface. The first mold surface and/or the second mold surface have a shape conforming to a final shape for the major surfaces of the aircraft window panel. The first mold half and/or the second mold half can be formed of rolled, hydroformed, or stamped metal.
CASTING MOLD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A CASTING HAVING A FRONT AND A BACK FROM A HARDENABLE CASTING COMPOUND
A casting mold for producing a casting having a front side and a rear side from a curable casting compound, including at least a first mold part shaping the front side and a second mold part shaping the rear side, the mold parts together delimiting a casting cavity. The first mold part has a first metal layer delimiting the casting cavity and the second mold part has a second metal layer delimiting the casting cavity. The two metal layers overlap in the region of their peripheries and at least the first metal layer is heatable by way of an assigned heating device. An insulation element is arranged on the metal layer of the first or of the second mold part in a peripherally encircling manner. The insulation element in the closed position bears peripherally against the other metal layer and thermally separates the two metal layers, which do not come into contact with one another, from one another.
CASTING MOLD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A CASTING HAVING A FRONT AND A BACK FROM A HARDENABLE CASTING COMPOUND
A casting mold for producing a casting having a front side and a rear side from a curable casting compound, including at least a first mold part shaping the front side and a second mold part shaping the rear side, the mold parts together delimiting a casting cavity. The first mold part has a first metal layer delimiting the casting cavity and the second mold part has a second metal layer delimiting the casting cavity. At least one metal layer is at least partially deformable for the purpose of changing the casting cavity volume. At least one mold part has an areal intermediate layer which is composed of an elastically deformable and compressible material and against which the metal layer of the mold part is movable with build-up of a restoring force on the part of the deforming intermediate layer.
