Molding element for manufacturing a noise reducing tread
The present disclosure provides for a molding element for a mold used for manufacturing a tread of a tire having a plurality of contacting element, a plurality of grooves and a connecting member connecting two side faces of adjacent contacting elements, the molding element having a molding surface and a rib for forming the groove between adjacent contacting elements and at least two rib side faces, the rib having a notching portion, a guiding member made of a material different from a material of the molding element being received in the notching portion and has two opposite side faces and a top face configured to form a part of a bottom of the groove, a distal end of the rib projecting member has a chamfered surface facing to an obliquely upward direction for guiding the connecting member toward the guiding slit.
Manufacturing method of insert molded article
The present invention is intended to provide a manufacturing method of an insert molded article that makes it possible to manufacture efficiently the insert molded article including a metallic insert, an inside member made of a synthetic resin and covering a portion of the insert, and an outside member made of a synthetic resin different from the material of the inside member and covering a portion of the inside member using general molding machines, not a dedicated two-color molding machine. General molding machines are used to manufacture the insert molded article formed by injection molding of a resin part in twice. An insert core 7 is used in common in primary molding using a primary molding die C1 and in a secondary molding using a secondary molding die. A round shaft 7C of the insert core 7 is fitted into an internal hole 2C of an insert 2 to form a coupled body 10 in which the insert 2 and the insert core 7 are coupled together. The coupled body 10 is used in common at the primary molding step and the secondary molding step.
PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING AN INTRAOCULAR LENS WITH AN EMBEDDED MASK
Intraocular implants and methods of making intraocular implants are provided. The intraocular implant can include a mask adapted to increase depth of focus. The method of manufacturing the implant can include positioning the mask with an aperture on a protruding pin of a positioning mold portion. The protruding pin can be configured to center the mask in the intraocular lens.
Molding element for manufacturing a noise reducing tread
The present disclosure is related to a molding element for a mold used for manufacturing a tire. The molding element has a molding surface for forming a contact face of the contacting elements and a rib for forming the groove between adjacent contacting elements, at least two rib side faces forming the side faces of the contacting element, the rib having a notching portion, a guiding member made of a material different from a material of the molding element is received in the notching portion and has two opposite side faces configured to form a part of the side faces of the contacting element and a top face configured to form a part of a bottom of the axial groove.
Molding element for manufacturing a noise reducing tread
The present disclosure provides a molding element for a mold used for manufacturing a tread of a tire having a plurality of contacting element, a plurality of grooves and a connecting member connecting two side faces of adjacent contacting elements, the molding element having a molding surface and a rib for forming the groove between adjacent contacting elements, at least two rib side faces, the rib having a notching portion, the guiding member having a guiding slit extending from one of the two opposite side faces to the other of the two opposite side faces through the guiding member and radially from the top face, at least one of faces of the notching portion is provided with a means for keeping the guiding member in place in the notching portion.
Molding element for manufacturing a noise reducing tread
The present disclosure provides a molding element for a mold used for manufacturing a tread of a tire having a plurality of contacting element, a plurality of grooves and a connecting member connecting two side faces of adjacent contacting elements, the molding element having a molding surface and a rib for forming the groove between adjacent contacting elements, at least two rib side faces, the rib having a notching portion, a guiding member made of a material different from a material of the molding element being received in the notching portion and has two opposite side faces and a top face, the material of the guiding member having a modulus at 10% elongation lower than that of the molding element, the guiding member having a guiding slit, the guiding member has a recessed area extending in a direction along the guiding slit on the top face and an outermost portion of the guiding slit is open in the recessed area.
Mold for producing three-dimensional decorative articles and method of use
Three-dimensional decorative articles are produced from blanks of heat-shrinkable plastic sheet material, using a mold base having an outer surface with a recess over which a blank is placed, and a convex mold insert that moves into the recess by gravity as the blank softens and cooperates with the interior wall of the recess to shape the sheet material into a three-dimensional decorative article. A guide peg extends outward from the bottom of the recess past the outer surface of the mold base and extends through a hole formed in the blank, and through a guide hole in the mold insert to support the mold insert before heating and to guide the mold insert as it moves into the recess of the mold base.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR INJECTION MOULDING A CAP WITH A TAMPERPROOF RING
A method and an apparatus form aluminium screw capsules with a safety ring made of synthetic plastics for tamperproof closing of containers. An aluminium capsule body is inserted into a moulding cavity Of a mould conformed and arranged for the overmoulding of a safety ring on an edge of an annular wall of the capsule body. An annular sealing zone is defined for the synthetic plastic material between a first surface of the capsule body and a mould first portion inserted into the central cavity of the capsule body to form a safety ring anchored to the capsule body.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR INJECTION MOLDING OF COMPOSITE MATERIALS COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE INSERTED LAMINATE
The present invention relates to a device for injection molding of a composite material comprising at least one laminate (1). The device comprises a mold (2) including a plurality of mold portions (3, 4), each heaving a first side (5, 6) defining a molding surface. At least one of the mold portions (3, 4) is movable such that the mold (2) is movable between an open state and a closed state.
