Three-dimensional decorative articles are produced from blanks of heat-shrinkable plastic sheet material, using a mold base having an outer surface with a recess over which a blank is placed, and a convex mold insert that moves into the recess by gravity as the blank softens and cooperates with the interior wall of the recess to shape the sheet material into a three-dimensional decorative article. A guide peg extends outward from the bottom of the recess past the outer surface of the mold base and extends through a hole formed in the blank, and through a guide hole in the mold insert to support the mold insert before heating and to guide the mold insert as it moves into the recess of the mold base.

A form member is detachably secured to the bracket member, the form member continuously extending outside the perimeter of the substrate and receives deformable material that ultimately solidifies; whereby, the substrate surface and the form member cooperate to configure a countertop that continuously extends upon and outside the perimeter of the substrate, thereby forming a countertop having an integrally joined overhang portion; whereupon, the reusable countertop mold is removed from the solidified countertop overhang portion and the rail portion.

The spar cap elements are arranged on the at least one spar cap forming surface along the longitudinal direction and are connected to one another so as to form the rotor blade spar cap. The spar cap elements connected to one another are removed from the spar cap mold, are introduced into the rotor blade shell, and are connected to the rotor blade shell.
