Conversion structure for a molding system

Disclosed herein, amongst other things, are various conversion structures for use in a molding system (100, 200). A non-limiting embodiment of the conversion structure includes a standard mold receiver (140, 157) and a mold conversion module (151A, 151B, 151C, 251A, 251B, 251C, 251D, 251E, 251F, 152A, 152B, 152C, 170A, 170B, 170C). The standard mold receiver (140, 57) and the mold conversion module (151A, 151B, 151C, 251A, 251B, 251C, 251D, 251E, 251F, 152A, 152B, 152C, 170A, 170B, 170C) are configured to cooperate, wherein the mold conversion module (151A, 151B, 151C, 251A, 251B, 251C, 251D, 251E, 251F, 152A, 152B, 52C, 170A, 170B, 170C) is receivable in the standard mold receiver (140, 157) for converting a molding configuration of a mold (120).

When the first piston is in the first position, the clamping member will be rotated an angle to disengage the inner portion from the wing of the upper mold, and when in the second position, the piston will drive the clamping member to rotate an angle in a reverse direction, so that the wing of the upper mold is clamped between the inner portion and the bottom surface of the mold mounting unit.

When the clamper is in a clamping state, the at least one resilient element forces the pair of rotatable arm to move close to each other, and a respective one defining ring does not pass across a gap of the pair of rotatable arms. The drive device drives the pair of rotatable arms to rotate to switch the clamper to be in an unclamping state. The respective one defining ring moves across the gap after the pair of rotatable arms move away from each other.
