Arm restraint for IV site stabtility
The invention relates to an upper extremity restraint which uses moveable non-adhesive restraint strappings and a reversible rigid platform, which enables a caregiver to ensure the patient's secure upper limb positioning for intravenous site maintenance. The present invention also includes an upper extremity restraint which uses parallel openings in the backbone restraint, which enable the immobilization of the upper limb through use of tie down restraining to prevent formation of hematomas or other types of patient injury caused by IV catheter site interruption or displacement.
MEDICAL SUPPORT SLEEVE DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS
In general, medical sleeve systems that at least partially support a patient's arm in a selected position are described. In one embodiment, an example support sleeve includes a proximal end that defines an arm opening, a distal end, a wall that extends between the proximal end and the distal end, the wall including an anterior side portion and a posterior side portion, and an access port located on the anterior side portion proximate the distal end. The support sleeve may be manipulated between first and second positions, and at least partially maintained in the second position during a medical procedure.

BLOOD FLOW ASSISTING PORTABLE ARM SUPPORT
A portable arm support can be secured to an arm of a patient, for instance during a medical procedure (e.g., filtration of blood of the patient). The arm support can inhibit movement of the arm of the patient in one or more degrees of freedom (e.g., elevation, abduction, adduction, flexion, or the like). In some examples, the arm support includes a cuff and abase. In another example, the arm support includes an elongated member. In yet another example, the arm support includes a constricting band. The arm support can help maintain blood flow in the arm of the patient, and can help protect a catheter inserted into the arm of the patient (or protect other medical equipment proximate to the patient).
Syringe and Plunger Clip for Bottles
One embodiment of a mechanism for attaching a syringe and separated plunger to a bottle and of the type having an attachment member (110) from which restraints (114) extend. In being fastened to the bottle, the restraints enable convenient drying and storage of the syringe and the separated plunger. Other embodiments are described and shown.

System and Method for Automated Cannulation
The invention relates to a system (100) for data-dependent automated cannulation of patient blood vessels, in particular for hemodialysis, comprising: at least one cannulation robot (1) configured for automated cannulating of patient blood vessels, a control system (50, 51) comprising at least one data processing device and which is configured to implement a control procedure which controls the at least one cannulation robot subject to program parameters, at least one user interface device (80), enabling user input by means of which a patient is registered in the control system (50, 51), whereby in consequence of this control system registration procedure, an individually assigned patient identifier, which is referred to as the registered patient identifier, is used for the registered patient, and wherein the control system is configured to define the program parameters as a function of the registered patient identifier and control the at least one cannulation robot (1) as a function of the registered patient identifier. The invention furthermore relates to a corresponding method.
Extremity stabilization apparatus
An extremity stabilization apparatus and methods for supporting and immobilizing an extremity during venous access. One example of an apparatus includes a cuff having a top surface structured for receiving a limb of a patient, the cuff having a front end and a back end. The surface of the cuff may be c-shaped such that the cuff partially surrounds the extremity received in the cuff. The apparatus further includes a handle having a grip for receiving the hand of a patient, the grip arranged offset from the front end of the cuff, and an assembly coupled to the cuff, the assembly movable between at least a first position and a second position to change the position of the top surface of the cuff, each of the first position and second positions corresponding to a different angle of the top surface of the cuff.

Transilluminating Immobilizer for Intravenous and Intra-arterial procedures
A transilluminating immobilizer and methods for the same for intravenous procedures (IV), intra-arterial procedures (IA) and vessel access. The device features a component for restraining an extremity and a transilluminating component for location of vessels during IV and IA placement.
