Transilluminating Immobilizer for Intravenous and Intra-arterial procedures
A transilluminating immobilizer and methods for the same for intravenous procedures (IV), intra-arterial procedures (IA) and vessel access. The device features a component for restraining an extremity and a transilluminating component for location of vessels during IV and IA placement.
WRIST SUPPORT AND METHODS OF USE
A wrist support apparatus capable of positioning and restraining a patients wrist including an elongated base member and an adjustable means to adjust the angle of the patient's exposed wrist for insertion of a medial line such as a radial arterial line or intravenous line. The wrist support apparatus includes a first fastening means to restrain the patient's fingers, a second fastening means to restrain the patient's forearm and a third fastening means to restrain the patient's thumb. A fourth fastening means may be used to secure the wrist support apparatus to an object such as a table. A method of use includes positioning the patient's wrist at an angle during the insertion of the medical line and may include an adjustable means for such positioning.

Hand cover
A hand cover includes a protective housing secured to an adjustment mechanism. The protective housing inhibits contact between the hand and the external environment. The adjustment mechanism secures the hand cover to the user. An optional upper access aperture provides air circulation and access to the hand. An optional lateral access aperture also provides access to the hand. An optional positioning mechanism helps maintain the hand cover in place. Attachment anchors for restraints or exercise bands may be provided and devices for orienting and securing IV lines may be provided.

Patient positioning device
A patient positioning device includes a planar sheet having removably connected padded substrates attached proximal to the patient's arms. The padded substrates are wrapped around the patient's respective arms to protect and elevate the arms from the underlying table or gurney. Leggings are also provided to protect the patient's legs. The padded substrates include splits to allow wires and cables to pass through without getting tangled. A secondary sheet is attachable to the device to cocoon the patient when the patient is rolled over. A shoulder strap is provided under the patients shoulders, wrapping around and over the shoulders at the trapezius and at the shoulder cuff and is secured to the padded substrates for additional protection and security. The device has a low friction bottom surface to ease transfer and positioning.

Fixture for arm during medical treatment
A fixture for immobilizing an arm of a patient for insertion of a catheter for coronary investigation and intervention has a fixture board for insertion under a mattress carrying a patient. The fixture board further has a link for attaching an arm holder to the fixture board. The arm holder is arranged adjacent an elbow of the patient and has an arm support and a belt for attaching the arm to the arm support. In addition, a wrist holder is attached to the arm holder for supporting the wrist. The wrist holder may be sterilized and disposable. An instrument table is connected to said fixture board via a link. The distance between the arm holder and the fixture board may be adjustable.

MEDICAL SUPPORT SLEEVE DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS
In general, medical sleeve systems that at least partially support a patient's arm in a selected position are described. In one embodiment, an example support sleeve includes a proximal end that defines an arm opening, a distal end, a wall that extends between the proximal end and the distal end, the wall including an anterior side portion and a posterior side portion, and an access port located on the anterior side portion proximate the distal end. The support sleeve may be manipulated between first and second positions, and at least partially maintained in the second position during a medical procedure.
