METHOD FOR MAKING A THREE-DIMENSIONAL OBJECT
A method, composition and kit that enable the creation of a three-dimensional object by the action of placing at least one molding composition of at least one color or type into a mold, and then subsequently placing the mold within a liquid hardening agent to cure and solidify the molding composition enough so the three-dimensional object can be removed from the mold and become an object of display or a toy to be played with.
VIAL WITH NON-ROUND SEAL
A moisture-tight, re-sealable container is disclosed having a lid and body. The lid and body have a non-round seal that is substantially moisture tight when the lid is seated on the body, admitting less than 1000 micrograms per day of water to a package. A reinforcement stiffens or reinforces at least a portion of the seal against inward deflection along an axis defined by the minor diameter when the lid is seated on the body. Optionally the reinforcement is at least one spline subdividing the reservoir. A method of making dispensers for objects of varying length to customize particular dispensers to dispense such objects of a particular length is also disclosed.
Methods for manufacturing items utilizing a planar support member
Methods for manufacturing an item that include obtaining a component support assembly having at least a first component on a top surface of a planar support member, and placing a frame onto the planar support member's top surface or around the planar support member such that the frame surrounds the first component. The frame has at least one side member, and an inner surface of the side member defines a frame cavity. The methods may also include depositing a second component material into the frame cavity and onto the component support assembly, and allowing the second component material to harden to form a second component that is secured to the first component and the planar support member's top surface. The methods may include removing the frame from the unfinished item, and removing the planar support member from the first and second components to reveal a bottom surface of the item.
Multi-composition cosmetic products and method for manufacturing same
The invention relates to novel multicolour, multitexture and multimaterial cosmetic products as well as to a method for hot casting cosmetic compositions containing fats, in particular an oil. Said method advantageously renders a mold superfluous and allows the creation of products that include a plurality of compositions such as to produce highly original appearances. Said method also allows the production of products with a very irregular raised designs.
Polymeric cutting edge structures and method of manufacturing polymeric cutting edge structures
A functional polymeric cutting edge structure and methods for manufacturing cutting edge structures using polymeric materials are provided. A razor blade for use in a razor cartridge or a blade box for assembly in a razor cartridge frame may be formed using the present invention.
ACCOMMODATING LENS WITH CAVITY
A lens comprises an internal cavity structure formed by dissolution of a soluble insert material. The internal soluble material may dissolve through a body of a lens such as a contact lens in order to form the cavity within the contact lens. The cavity within the lens can be shaped in many ways, and corresponds to the shape of the dissolved material, such that many internal cavity shapes can be readily fabricated within the contact lens. The insert can be placed in a mold with a pre-polymer material, and the pre-polymer material cured with the insert placed in the mold to form the lens body. The polymerized polymer may comprise a low expansion polymer in order to inhibit expansion of the lens when hydrated. The polymer may comprise a hydrogel when hydrated. The soft contact lens material comprises a sufficient amount of cross-linking to provide structure to the lens and shape the cavity.
Microneedle Patch and Fabrication Device for Production of Multilayered Microneedles
An apparatus for manufacturing a multilayer microneedle patch and a method to manufacture a multilayer microneedle patch is disclosed along with multilayer microneedle patches.
Method of manufacturing light emitting device
Provided is a method of manufacturing a light emitting device, comprising: preparing a base body having a concave portion; disposing a light emitting element at the bottom of the concave portion; disposing a first resin containing first phosphor particles having an average particle size of 10 m or more and 30 m or less and a first filler having an average particle size of 5 m or more and 20 m or less to cover the light emitting element; centrifugally precipitating the first phosphor particles and the first filler toward the base body; temporarily curing the first resin; disposing a second resin containing second phosphor particles and a second filler having an average particle size of 5 nm or more and 100 nm or less on the first resin temporarily cured; centrifugally precipitating the second phosphor particles and the second filler toward the first resin; and curing the first and second resins.

Method for Producing Vehicle Replacement Parts
A method produces a vehicle replacement part for a first vehicle component of a connecting system, which is fixed to a second vehicle component via a detachable clip connection. The first vehicle component has a male fixing element, and the second vehicle component has a female fixing element. To connect the first vehicle component to the second vehicle component, the male fixing element is plugged into the female fixing element and is latched. The production method of the vehicle replacement part provides an unfinished part, which is dimensioned to produce the vehicle replacement part. Then, the unfinished part is reshaped in accordance with the geometry of the first vehicle component. Male fixing elements are then provided and, in the last step, the male fixing elements are joined to the reshaped unfinished part.
