Method for manufacturing microscopic structural body
A method for manufacturing a molded product with fine structure includes steps of, in a temperature-controlled stamper mold provided with a fine structure including a concavo-convex pattern having a width of 10 nm to 1 μm, forming a thermoplastic molten polymer layer to be in contact with the fine structure 20 of the stamper mold having been kept at a predetermined temperature and holding the thermoplastic molten polymer layer for a predetermined time so as to transfer the fine structure of the stamper mold to the thermoplastic molten polymer layer under gravity.
Molding a fluid flow structure
In one example, a process for making a micro device structure includes molding a micro device in a monolithic body of material and forming a fluid flow passage in the body through which fluid can pass directly to the micro device.

Gripping tool, gripping system, and method for manufacturing resin member
According to one embodiment, a gripping tool includes a gripper. The gripper is flexible and includes a first portion contacting a workpiece, a second portion opposing the first portion, and a granular material provided between the first portion and the second portion. The first portion includes a concave portion and a convex portion. The concave portion is recessed in a first direction. The first direction is from the first portion toward the second portion. The convex portion is provided around the concave portion and protrudes in a second direction. The second direction is the reverse of the first direction. The concave portion has a groove having a ring configuration recessed outward from a center of the gripper.
Methods, apparatuses, and systems for micromanipulation with adhesive fibrillar structures
The present invention are methods for fabrication of micro- and/or nano-scale adhesive fibers and their use for movement and manipulation of objects. Further disclosed is a method of manipulating a part by providing a manipulation device with a plurality of fibers, where each fiber has a tip with a flat surface that is parallel to a backing layer, contacting the flat surfaces on an object, moving the object to a new location, then disengaging the tips from the object.

ADJUSTABLE MOULDING TOOL AND CORRESPONDING MOULDING METHOD
The application relates to an adjustable moulding tool and corresponding model production method, including following process steps: moving rods towards the said chamber through the said chamber's holey surfaces manually or via mechanisms in increments numbers of which are calculated through computer programs or manually, after the formation of the emptiness in the shape of the model, pouring of the material in a manner to fill the emptiness, heating and cooling or applying other processes in accordance with the characteristic of the poured material to enable that material takes the desired monolithic shape, after material takes the form of the model monolithically, making the casting chamber free of the rods, which have initially been moved towards the casting chamber with the purpose of the formation of the emptiness, by moving the rods in the reverse directions and taking out the produced model through an openable surface of the said chamber.

Method and device for producing a plurality of microlenses
Device and method for producing a plurality of microlenses from a lens material. The method includes: applying lens material intended for the embossing of the microlenses to a plurality of first lens molds distributed on a first embossing side of a first die for embossing of the microlenses, moving the first die and a second die located essentially parallel, in an X-Y plane, and opposite the first die, on top of one another in a Z-direction running essentially perpendicular to the X-Y plane, embossing the microlenses by shaping and curing the lens material, the shaping taking place by moving the first and second embossing sides on top of one another, up to a thickness D.sub.1 of the lens material in the Z-direction, wherein the lens material of each microlens at least during curing is separate from the lens material of each microlens which is adjacent in the X-Y plane.
