A fiber reinforced polyester polymer composition is disclosed that contains at least one tribological modifier. The tribological modifier may comprise an ultra-high molecular weight silicone alone or in combination with polytetrafluoroethylene particles. The composition not only has excellent tensile properties but also can produce a low friction surface.

INHALER SYSTEM

A system may include a plurality of inhalers, where each inhaler comprising medicament, a processor, memory, and a transmitter, multiple processing modules that may reside at least partially on a user device, a digital health platform (DHP) that is configured to receive and aggregate inhaler data from inhalers that are associated with a plurality of different users and a plurality of different medicament types. The DHP may determine a subset of the usage events based on the determined medication type, the determined time of day, and/or the determined date range. The DHP may determine a filtered list of users out of the plurality of users based on a comparison of the selected inhalation count threshold with the number of usage events that are associated with the same user and medication type.

SYSTEM FOR ANALYZING AND CONTROLLING CONSUMABLE MEDIA DOSING INFORMATION
20230330364 · 2023-10-19 ·

A vaporizing article, comprises a vaporizer drive circuit; one or more memories configured to store a percentage of at least one constituent in an inhalation media, one or more compensation values for at least one compensation category for the at least one constituent, and instructions; and a control circuit comprising a processor coupled with the one or more memories configured to run the instructions, the instructions configured to cause the processor to: receive a dose target for a constituent; determine whether to perform compensation for an inhalation media dose in order to ensure the dose target is met; when compensation is to be performed, determine the properly compensated inhalation media dose based on an associated compensation value for the constituent; and control the vaporizer drive circuit so as to dispense a compensated dose of the inhalation media.

Testing method for a dry powder inhaler

The invention provides a method of testing an inhaler based on performing an optical analysis of a dry powder medicament plume discharged from the inhaler upon actuation. More particularly, embodiments of the invention comprise illuminating the dry powder plume with a source of electromagnetic radiation and capturing one or more images of a pattern of radiation reflected or diffracted by the illuminated plume. The images are subsequently processed to determine and/or analyse one or more geometric and/or dynamic characteristics of the plume.

Devices, systems and methods for delivering coffee-derived volatiles

Devices, systems and methods are provided for delivering coffee-derived volatiles to a user, particularly for the treatment of addiction. The coffee volatiles are selected and delivered by devices and systems which allow for concentrated delivery to the olfactory system of the user in a controlled manner. The olfactory system is the part of the sensory system used for smelling or olfaction. Olfaction of such coffee volatiles in this prescribed fashion stimulates the reward system of the brain such that a specific desired outcome is achieved. In some embodiments, the desired outcome is a reduction in addiction symptoms or curbing of a sensation of addiction withdrawal.

VAPORIZER CATRIDGE AND AIRFLOW PATH THERETHROUGH

A personal vapor inhaling unit is disclosed. An electronic flameless vapor inhaler unit that may simulate a cigarette has a cavity that receives a cartridge in the distal end of the inhaler unit. The cartridge brings a substance to be vaporized in contact with a wick. When the unit is activated, and the user provides suction, the substance to be vaporized is drawn out of the cartridge, through the wick, and is atomized by the wick into a cavity containing a heating element. The heating element vaporizes the atomized substance. The vapors then continue to be pulled by the user through a mouthpiece and mouthpiece cover where they may be inhaled.
