Aerosol generator and atomizing module
An aerosol generator includes a container and an atomizing module arranged in the container. The container has a liquid chamber and an aerosol chamber respectively arranged at two opposite sides of the atomizing module. The atomizing module includes an annular vibration plate, a microporous member, and a circuit board. The vibration plate has a first hole, and the microporous member is disposed on the vibration plate and covers the first hole. The circuit board is electrically coupled to an electrical contact of the vibration plate. The circuit board is arranged at one side of at least part of the vibration plate, and the circuit board and the at least part of the vibration plate have a gap there-between. A projected region defined by orthogonally projecting the circuit board onto a plane overlapping with the electrical contact partially covers the least part of the vibration plate.
ELECTRONIC VAPING DEVICE WITH FLOATING ATOMIZER
An electronic vaping device is provided including a power supply portion comprising a power supply, an atomizer/liquid reservoir portion comprising a liquid reservoir storing a liquid, and an atomizer adapted to atomize the liquid stored in the liquid reservoir when operated by the power supply. The atomizer is adapted to float on the surface of the liquid in the liquid reservoir.
Pharmaceutical formulation for treating symptoms of migraine and cluster headaches, and method of using the same
A treatment for symptoms of migraine and cluster headaches includes operations of providing a solution of a serotonin receptor agonist (SRA) in an active mesh nebulizer, triggering the formation of a plume of particles from the active mesh nebulizer, and delivery of the plume of particles into the lungs of a patient during an inhalation process.
AEROSOL GENERATION DEVICE AND PRODUCTION METHOD FOR AEROSOL GENERATION DEVICE
Provided is an aerosol generation device that suppresses the effect that errors in the production of structural elements have on the accuracy with which shortage of an aerosol source is detected. An aerosol generation device that comprises: a power source; a load that has a temperature-variable electrical resistance value and atomizes an aerosol source by generating heat due to supply of power from the power source; a first circuit that is used for the load to atomize the aerosol source; a second circuit that is connected in parallel to the first circuit, has a higher electrical resistance value than the first circuit, and is used to detect voltage that changes as a result of changes in the temperature of the load; an acquisition part that acquires the value of voltage that is applied to the second circuit and the load; and sensors that output the value of the voltage that changes as a result of changes in the temperature of the load.
PORTABLE HUMIDIFICATION APPARATUS FOR TRACHEOSTOMY PATIENTS
A portable humidification apparatus for a patient having a tracheostomy including a tracheostomy tube includes an adapter having a central lumen and arranged to be coupled to the tracheostomy tube, the adapter including a first magnet disposed therein. A vaporizer assembly is configured to be removably coupled to the adapter in fluid communication with the central lumen and includes a second magnet disposed therein. The first magnet and the second magnet releasably connect the adapter and the vaporizer assembly and allow for relative rotation between the adapter and the vaporizer assembly when connected. An ultrasonic emitter is disposed within the vaporizer assembly for generating a water mist from water in a water supply system in fluid communication with the vaporizer assembly, wherein the water mist is ducted from the vaporizer assembly to the central lumen of the adapter to provide humidification of air inspired by the patient through the tracheostomy tube.
Mesh for use in a nebuliser, and a method of manufacturing the same
There is provided a mesh for use in forming droplets of liquid in a nebuliser, the mesh comprising a first portion (22) made of a first material having a plurality of holes passing therethrough; and a second portion (26) made of a second material that is in contact with the first portion (22), the second portion (26) having a corresponding plurality of holes passing therethrough, the plurality of holes in the second portion forming nozzles (28) for an outlet side of the mesh; wherein the first material has a higher density than the second material.
ELECTRONIC CIGARETTES
The present disclosure generally relates to the field of aerosol generation devices, and more particularly to electronic cigarettes configured to generation of aerosols from aqueous formulations of nicotine or cannabis products. The present disclosure further provides aqueous cannabinoid compositions for use in the aerosol generation devices.
THIN-PROFILE DELIVERY APPARATUS AND MEDIA CARTRIDGES
An apparatus to provide scent or other substances (e.g., active agent) includes a thin profile delivery apparatus that includes an actuator (e.g., nebulizer) and drive circuit to generate a spray, aerosol or vapor. The apparatus may have a slot to removably a media cartridge that carries the scent or other substances. The apparatus may include two contacts (e.g., buttons), opposed to one another across a dimension of the apparatus. Activation may require both engagement of both contacts, for instance concurrently, or even successive engagement of both contacts, in quick succession. Activation may further require a correct orientation of the apparatus. The apparatus may have a form factor similar to a conventional credit or debit card, and may be pliable or pliably resilient. The delivery apparatus can be used in entertainment (e.g., food or cooking programming), and in healthcare (e.g., control of metabolism).
METHODS AND MEDICINE DELIVERY DEVICES FOR RESPIRATORY SYSTEM TREATMENT
The present disclosure relates to methods for treating a respiratory system of a subject, as well as medicine delivery devices for delivering an aerosol medicine to a subject in need thereof. A benefit to the methods herein can be generating a respiratory pattern of a subject that can accurately measure inhalation and exhalation patterns, which can in turn provide a benefit of more efficient and timely delivery of an aerosol medicine to a subject in need thereof. Additional benefits to the methods and devices herein can be helping to improve treatment outcomes, as well as avoiding wastage of expensive medicines. Additional benefits to the medicine delivery devices disclosed herein can be non-invasive, low cost, lightweight, compact, versatile, and simple to use devices useful for a wide range of patients and healthcare settings. Another benefit of the medicine delivery devices can be providing a single-use device that can lower the risk of infection for patients and healthcare providers.
