Method for manufacturing resin pipe
A holding portion having a diameter larger than that of a cavity is formed in communication with the cavity, in an area of a two-part type mold, the area including a portion corresponding to an annular groove. Subsequently, an insert member formed in a cylindrical shape and provided with, on an outer circumferential surface, the annular groove having no step in a groove surface is fitted to the holding portion, and then the mold is closed. On an inner circumferential surface of the insert member, a surface treatment layer having a surface roughness rougher than those of other portions of the insert member is formed. Molten resin is injected into the cavity; thereafter, an assist material is injected into the cavity to mold the resin into a desired pipe body. Then, the insert member and the pipe body are integrated along with curing of the resin.
STATOR HOUSING FOR AN AXIAL FLUX MACHINE
Described herein is a method of manufacturing a housing for the stator of an axial flux permanent magnet machine. The housing has a cylindrical wall including a metal outer ring lined with a polymer inner ring. The method includes positioning the metal outer ring in an injection moulding machine, and with the injection moulding machine injection moulding a polymer resin onto an inner surface of the metal outer ring to fabricate the polymer inner ring. The polymer inner ring includes a gripping surface arranged to grip a portion of the outer ring, for example moulded around a formation on an inner surface of the metal outer ring. The housing is manufactured using the metal outer ring and the polymer inner ring.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A STEERING WHEEL
The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a steering wheel comprising a frame, a covering formed by a body, overmoulded onto the frame, and at least one insert, the method comprising steps aimed at: providing at least one recess in the covering, and producing the insert so that an assembly of the insert with the body of the covering allows the recess, to be at least partially covered, wherein the insert is obtained in a single piece with the body of the covering.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING E-BOOSTING DEVICE
A method of manufacturing a motor case for an electric motor of an e-boosting device in which the motor case is received within an outer housing to cooperatively define a coolant jacket. The method includes forming a shell member. The method also includes overmolding a dam member to the shell member. The dam member projects from an outer surface of the shell member. The overmolding of the dam member includes forming a molded through-hole through the dam member. The dam member and the outer surface are configured to define a fluid boundary for a coolant of the coolant jacket when the motor case is received in the outer housing. The through-hole defines a passage for the coolant in the coolant jacket.
Arrangement for introducing a force from a fastening element into a plastic component and method for producing the arrangement
An arrangement configured to introduce a force from a fastening element into a plastic component, the arrangement including a force-limiting element that is embedded in the plastic component; wherein the fastening element is configured to fasten the plastic component at a body; wherein the fastening element is insertable through the force-limiting element, and wherein the plastic component includes a retention device which protrudes at least partially into an interior of the force-limiting element so that the fastening element that is inserted into the force-limiting element is retained in the force limiting element.
HEART VALVE
The invention relates to a method of manufacturing a heart valve, comprising: a step of injection moulding a first part (110) of the heart valve from a first block-copolymer, wherein the injection moulding is performed at a temperature below an order-disorder transition temperature of the block copolymer, such that a phase structure is present in the molten block-copolymer; a step of injection moulding a second part (114) of the heart valve from a second block-copolymer that is different to the first block-copolymer, by over-moulding over the first part (110) to form an over-moulded structure, wherein the injection moulding is performed at a temperature below order-disorder transition temperatures for the first and second block copolymers, such that a phase structure is present in the molten second block-copolymer and remains present in the first block-copolymer; and a step of cooling the over-moulded structure, without heating it above the order-disorder transition temperatures between the step of injection moulding the second part (114) and the step of cooling, so as to preserve an arrangement of the phase structures created during the steps of injection moulding and produce anisotropic physical properties in the second part (114). The invention also relates to the thus manufactured heart valve.
Method for manufacturing a reducer wheel by overmolding
A method for manufacturing a wheel integrated to a support shaft, including: making by overmolding, in a first material, of a wheelrim on the support shaft, the wheelrim having an upper face having a ribbed annular portion in which cells are formed, delimited by reinforcing ribs and having respective bottoms, making by overmolding, in a second material, of a crown on the upper face of the wheelrim, by implementing an injection in at least one injection point positioned opposite the ribbed annular portion, prior to the step of making the crown by overmolding, formation of a material deposit in at least one target cell, selected amongst the cells, so as to form a raised area with respect to bottom thereof, the injection of the second material at the injection point being performed opposite the raised area.
