The invention relates to a method for the manufacturing of a bearing element of a shift device for a motor vehicle transmission. In a first process step a bearing element is provided, which comprises at least one projection and a coupling joint for the mechanical coupling of a selector lever in order to select a shift position of a motor vehicle transmission. The projection is overmolded by means of an assembly injection molding process with a bearing bushing material in order to form a bearing bushing to mount the bearing element in a moveable manner.
Gasket including carrier film and method of manufacturing the same
The purpose of this invention is to make it easy to handle all-rubber gaskets. To achieve this purpose, a gasket is characterized in that a gasket body of only rubber is combined with a carrier film that is made from a resin film to hold the gasket body in a non-adhesive state. A three-dimensional portion having a shape that is deformed along the external shape of the gasket body is provided at a position where the gasket body and a plane of the carrier film overlap, and a portion of the gasket body is contained in the three-dimensional section. The gasket body is used as a gasket for fuel cells incorporated into a fuel cell stack.
Rear backup system for a vehicle
A rear backup system for a vehicle includes a rear backup video camera and a display device including a video display screen operable to display video images viewable by a driver of the vehicle. When a transmission of the vehicle is shifted into reverse gear to commence a backup event, video backup images derived from image data captured by the rear backup video camera are displayed at the video display screen of the display device. Display of the video backup images continues after shifting of the transmission out of reverse gear. Display of the video backup images at the video display screen ceases once a threshold condition is met. The threshold condition may include a threshold period of time elapsing after the transmission has been shifted out of reverse gear. The rear backup video camera continues to capture image data at least until the threshold condition is met.
STRAP FOR A WEARABLE DEVICE
A strap for a wearable device comprises a printed circuit board (PCB) located within said strap. The PCB comprises a first electronic component, coupled to a first flexible portion. The first electronic component is mounted to a cage, the cage comprising a cage pivot mount. The flexible portion is under tension and urges said first electronic component towards said cage pivot mount such that a pivotable connection is formed between said cage and said first electronic component. Also disclosed is a method of manufacture of the strap.

ENCAPSULATION COVER FOR AN ELECTRONIC PACKAGE AND METHOD OF FABRICATION
An encapsulation cover for an electronic package includes a cover body having a frontal wall provided with at least one optical element allowing light to pass through. The optical element is inserted into the encapsulation cover by overmolding into a through-passage of the frontal wall. A front face of the optical element is set back with respect to a front face of the frontal wall. The process for fabricating the encapsulation cover includes forming a stack of a sacrificial spacer on top of an optical element, with the stack placed into a cavity of a mold.

A rear backup system for a vehicle includes a rear backup video camera and a display device including a video display screen operable to display video images viewable by a driver of the vehicle. A rotation system for a vehicle sun visor that includes a rod coupled to the vehicle sun visor, wherein the rod is configured to couple to a vehicle to support the vehicle sun visor within an interior of the vehicle, and the rod is configured to facilitate rotation of the vehicle sun visor about the rod. The rotation system also includes a contact element non-rotatably coupled to the rod. The rotation system further includes a biasing element configured to urge a contact surface against the contact element to control rotation of the vehicle sun visor about the rod.
