The present invention relates to a mask and an inflatable structure thereof. The inflatable structure which is provided in a mask's body comprises: a ventilation seat; a sleeving connection which is sleeved at one end of the ventilation seat and sandwiches the mask's body together with the ventilation seat, with the sleeving connection provided with a socket tube so that the mask's body, the ventilation seat and the socket tube are in air communication; an air-sealed hood which is connected to the sleeving connection and provided around the socket tube. By virtue of the structure in the present invention, the air flow can be effectively imported into the patient to significantly increase the survival rate of the patient.

Establishing secure communication at an emergency care scene

Among other things, we describe a system that includes a first medical device for treating a patient at an emergency care scene, the first medical device including a processor and a memory configured to detect a request for a connection between the first medical device and a second medical device for treating the patient at the emergency care scene, the request for connection including an identifier of the second medical device, responsive to receiving the request for connection, enabling a wireless communication channel to be established between the first medical device and the second medical device based on the identifier of the second medical device and an identifier of the first medical device; and enabling transmission and/or exchange of patient data between the first medical device and the second medical device via the wireless communication channel. Such communications with more than two devices may also be possible.

RESUSCITATION DEVICE FOR VICTIMS OF CARDIORESPIRATORY ARRESTS
20180085542 · 2018-03-29 ·

The resuscitation device includes a curved tube which is inserted into the mouth and the throat of the patient, a straight segment remaining on the outside, where two one-way safety valves are arranged, for preventing the return of fluid, said device also including a prophylactic mouthpiece used by the resuscitating person in order to blow the air, and a protective mask which covers the mouth and the nose of the resuscitator, the mouthpiece and mask assembly being able to rotate in both directions so as to adopt different positions, where the tube is mounted on the rest of the device in a pressurized detachable manner, thus enabling the tube to be mounted in its position of use in a very simple manner, as it only requires the pressurized coupling of the end of the tube in the corresponding housing thereof.

EMERGENCY CPR SANITATION SEPARATION DEVICE AND METHOD OF USE
20180064893 · 2018-03-08 ·

A rescue device for a heart attack victim and a method of rescuing a heart attack victim is provided. The device includes a first tube that is configured to be inserted into the victim's mouth so as to assist in performing CPR and restoring normal breathing by creating a high-pressure environment within the victim's mouth and thus inflating the victim's lungs. The device further includes a second tube that is configured to allow a rescuer to create the high-pressure environment in the victim's mouth by blowing into a second tube of the device. A filter is positioned between the first and second tubes to reduce sanitary concerns and to prevent foreign objects from traveling between mouths of the victim and the rescuer.

SEALABLE MOUTHPIECE
20180021606 · 2018-01-25 ·

The present invention relates to an intraoral flexible mouthpiece comprising: a hollow dome portion comprising a peripheral proximal edge wherein said hollow dome portion extends distally and wherein said hollow dome portion comprises a central orifice located at the distal portion of said hollow dome portion; a peripheral flexible sheet flange attached along said dome portion peripheral proximal edge; a tube attached to said central orifice and extending distally therefrom; wherein said peripheral flexible sheet flange is configured to be placed in the mouth between the teeth and gums on one side and the lips and cheeks on the other side, and wherein the hollow dome portion is configured to protrude distally out of the mouth.

Resuscitation training device

A split passageway resuscitation training device is described. Embodiments of the split passageway resuscitation training device can be implemented with a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) mask, a CPR valve (with or without a mask), or a CPR resuscitation bag. The split passageway resuscitation training device can allow a simulated rescuer and a simulated victim to use a CPR mask. For instance, the split passageway resuscitation training device can allow the training rescuer to practice exhaling into the mask without the live victim having to inhale the rescuer's breaths. The split passageway resuscitation training device also allows the victim to breathe through a different passageway of the device while wearing the mask.

VENTILATION MASK

Disclosed is a nasal ventilation mask having separate ports to monitor end-tidal CO.sub.2 expulsion integrated into the mask in order to monitor end-tidal CO.sub.2 expelled nasally or orally. Also disclosed is a CPR mask for nose-to-mouth and/or mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, having a body shaped to cover the nose and/or mouth of a victim, said mask including a CO.sub.2 absorber for eliminating at least in part rescuer's exhaled CO.sub.2 delivered to the victim.

CPR volume exchanger valve system with safety feature and methods

A method for regulating gas flows into and out of a patient includes repetitively forcing respiratory gases out of the lungs. Respiratory gases are prevented from entering back into the lungs during a time between when respiratory gases are forced out of the lungs. Periodically, an oxygen-containing gas is supplied to the lungs.
