Piston, cartridge and method of venting a cartridge
A two-component piston for a cartridge includes a piston cover as the first component and a piston body as the second component. The piston has a first side and a second side, and a rear side of the piston cover arranged adjacent to at least a part of the piston body. A front side of the piston cover is arranged at the first side, and the rear side of the piston cover includes a valve member. The valve member is to be received within the piston body and to extend into the piston body towards the second side. The piston cover is configured to be moved relative to the piston body on actuation of the valve member and the piston cover is non-releasably connected to the piston body.

The radio-wave transparent cover includes a plastic transparent layer, a decorative layer provided on the rear-side surface of the transparent layer, and a plastic base layer provided on the rear-side surface of the decorative layer. A method of forming a cap assembly comprises injection molding a cap in a first shot from a first polymeric material, wherein the cap has an opening at one end defined by a perimeter. Injection molding a tamper band in a second shot from a second polymeric material such that the tamper band is monolithically attached to the perimeter of the cap. The first polymeric material and the second polymeric material comprise dissimilar resins and the tamper band is configured to sever from the cap with no burrs remaining on the perimeter of the cap.
