A resin-molded component includes a first molding part, and a second molding part. A portion of the first molding part and a portion of the second molding part are laminated in a direction of connecting an outer surface and an inner surface of the resin-molded component to provide a laminated portion. A portion of the second molding part is provided as an exposed portion. Each of portions of the laminated portion is located at least on opposite sides across the exposed portion. A one-side surface of the exposed portion in the laminating direction of the laminated portion is configured as a portion of the outer surface and the other-side surface thereof is configured as a portion of the inner surface.

The method includes a number of steps where various molds are used to form different components of the cleated plate member. A collar receptacle is formed using a first molding process. A cleat member is formed from a non-compatible material with a fastener of the cleat member associated with the collar receptacle using another molding process to form a combined cleat assembly. The combined cleat assembly is placed into corresponding receptacles in a mold used to form the cleated plate member. The cleated plate member is formed using another molding process that embeds the collar receptacle into the body of the cleated plate member. The completed cleated plate member includes releasably attached cleat members.

The two-color molding method includes: molding a first resin portion by a common die and a primary die; and molding a second resin portion integrally with the first resin portion by the common die and a secondary die. An abutting portion is molded on an edge of the first resin portion to protrude toward the secondary die when the first resin portion is molded, and a distal end surface of the abutting portion is maintained to be abutted on a cavity surface or a parting surface of the secondary die when the second resin portion is molded. The deformation of the abutting portion or the first resin portion is suppressed to suitably mold the second resin portion.
