Disclosed herein, amongst other things, are structure and steps for positioning a first mold part of a mold on a mold mounting face in an injection molding machine. In particular, the structure and steps may include a positioner that is configured to connect the first mold part to part of the injection molding machine, wherein the positioner is adjustable to position the first mold part across the mold mounting face.

In the present invention, constructed is a highly reliable system that does not allow unforeseen conditions to occur in the remote diagnosis of a clamp device. All combinations of status of a state detection switch mounted on a clamp device are anticipated in advance by a recursive method, and the states are defined with no omissions. A control unit 9 includes: a main body memory 9c that stores the ON/OFF state of a state switch together with the status of an injection molding machine main body, the clamp status and time information; and a main body communication unit 9d which is capable of short-range wireless communication. A message diagnosing a failure is stored in a smartphone 12 for all combinations of the ON/OFF state of the state detection switch for each of the following cases: whether in mold replacement mode or not; and whether a clamp device is in a clamped state or an unclamped state, or in a state other than the forgoing. The history of the ON/OFF state of the state detection switch with respect to the status of the main body and the clamp status is read from the main body memory 9c by wireless communication, and a corresponding message is displayed.

Mold positioning device

There is provided a structure for positioning a first mold part of a mold on a mold mounting face in an injection molding machine. The structure comprises a positioner configured to connect the first mold part to part of the injection molding machine, wherein the positioner is adjustable to position the first mold part on the mold mounting face. The structure further comprises controller executable instructions executable in a controller with which to resolve an alignment parameter of the mold using a feedback signal from a sensor. Further provided is a method of operating an injection molding machine which method comprises the steps of positioning a first mold part of a mold on a mold mounting face using a positioner and appreciating an alignment parameter of the mold with reference to a feedback signal from a sensor.

A movable-side cavity forming mold has a second axial mold surface that is in contact with an axial end surface of a second annular section of the annular sections of the resin retainer, and a second protruding portion protruding from the second axial mold surface. A slide core sliding step is performed in which slide cores are slid toward an outer diameter and pocket-forming protruding portions of the slide cores are extracted from a pocket of the retainer, and then a mold opening step is performed in which the movable-side cavity forming mold is opened relative to the fixed-side cavity forming mold.

A clamping device for fastening an injection mold to a tool plate comprises an upper part and a lower part, said lower part having a mounting surface arranged flat against the tool plate. First, second, third and fourth side surfaces upstand from said mounting surface, said upper part having first, second, third and fourth side surfaces. Said upper and lower parts are connected by a first bolt having an axis of symmetry defining an axis. A resilient member is arranged in connection with the first bolt between the upper and lower parts concentrically with the bolt's axis. The first bolt has a non-threaded section such that the lower part or upper part may move along the bolt in the direction of the axis.

The fluid supported molding system also includes a mold material injector configured to inject a mold material into the mold. During the injection of mold material into the mold, the fluid surrounding the mold is configured to resist defection of an outer surface of the mold.

An injection mold, in particular for encapsulating rotors of electric machines, has a mold, wherein the mold has an arrangement of mold segments. The arrangement forms, along a longitudinal axis, a cavity for a component to be arranged. An exchange unit is provided, which is designed to remove at least one mold segment from and/or insert at least one mold segment into the arrangement, with the result that a size of the cavity can be changed.
