CLEANING AGENT FOR MOLDING-MACHINE CLEANING AND CLEANING METHOD
The object of the present invention is to provide a cleaning agent that is superior in the initial cleaning effect and allows residues to be easily distributed evenly in the next fabricated molded article. The object is achieved by a cleaning agent used for a molding machine and including a thermoplastic resin and a glass wool.
Purging agent
A purging agent that has excellent purging performance without generation of aggregate is disclosed as a purging agent used in a purging operation where a resin to be processed contains a polar group-containing thermoplastic resin. This purging agent contain a hydrocarbon-based resin, and at least one metal salt among an alkaline metal salt and alkaline earth metal salt, has a water content of 0.15% by weight or less, and includes 0.1 to 20% by weight of the metal salt expressed as the metal relative to the hydrocarbon-based resin.
Porous insert for nozzle of an injection molding system
A nozzle assembly for an injection molding system has a nozzle adapter with one or more vent holes therein. A porous metal insert is provided in fluid communication with at least one of the vent holes. The porous metal insert is also in fluid communication with a flow channel through the nozzle assembly. As molten polymeric material advances through the flow channel from a barrel to a mold assembly, gases entrained in the molten polymeric material are vented through the porous metal insert and escape through the one or more vent holes. Pressurized air may be introduced through the vent holes, such as by one or more blow-back modules, to unclog pores of the one or more porous metal inserts between shots of the injection molding system.
INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE
An injection molding machine includes: a controller configured to instruct an operation indicated by first or second operation information associated with at least either first or second image information displayed on a display, or to execute processing by a system program, wherein the first and second operation information is information about an injection molding operation according to a first or second production condition, and operation information about first and second molds or operation information about a mold clamping mechanism from beginning to completion of the injection molding operation, the display displays a plurality of operating points indicating positions of the first mold, the second mold or the mold clamping mechanism relative to time or process from the beginning of the injection molding operation, and line segments connecting the plurality of operating points, and the first and second image information are displayed on the operating points.
Injection molding system
An injection molding system includes a sensor that detects a state of a purged molding material, and a purged material analysis unit that obtains a detection signal of the sensor and analyzes the purged molding material. Whether or not the purge operation is completed is determined based on the detection signal of the sensor so as to complete the purge operation. The purge operation is thus allowed to be completed with a minimum purge amount.
Molding system having a mold stack with a cleaning configuration and a shut height adjustment mechanism
In an aspect, a mold stack may comprise two adjacent components, one at least partially defining a vent adjustable between a molding configuration and a cleaning configuration. A junction of the components may be adjustable between a molding configuration, wherein mating faces contact one another to define a parting line, and a cleaning configuration, wherein mating faces are separated to create a molding cavity extension therebetween and an auxiliary melt barrier prevents uncontrolled flashing from the extension. In another aspect, a mold shut height adjustment mechanism may include a mold component movable along an operational axis of the mold, a stop member, movable along the axis relative to the mold component, having first and second stops for providing first and second gaps on the front and back sides, respectively, of the mold component when the stop member is deployed, and a spacer for use in selectively deploying the stop member.
EXHAUST UNIT FOR INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE
An exhaust unit for injection molding machine includes a purge cover having a nozzle through-hole allowing a nozzle of a cylinder of an injection molding machine to pierce through, an exhaust passage extending higher than the cylinder in the upward direction, and an exhaust port communicating with the exhaust passage, and a stationary platen connected to the exhaust port of the purge cover.
CLEANING AGENT COMPOSITION AND MOLDING RAW MATERIAL
A cleaning agent composition contains 100 parts by weight of polyethylene oxide; 25 parts by weight to 90 parts by weight of at least one type of fatty acid ester that is selected from glycerin fatty acid ester, polyglycerin fatty acid ester, or sorbitan fatty acid ester; and 15 parts by weight to 45 parts by weight of a metal salt of a fatty acid and/or a hydroxyfatty acid. The cleaning agent composition is used for cleaning a flow channel for resin in a hot runner type mold.
CLEANING AGENT COMPOSITION AND MOLDING RAW MATERIAL
Provided is a cleaning agent composition that is capable of efficiently performing the substitution of a molding raw material in a hot runner type mold. The cleaning agent composition contains 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic resin; 1 part by weight to 20 parts by weight of at least one type of fatty acid ester that is selected from glycerin fatty acid ester, polyglycerin fatty acid ester, or sorbitan fatty acid ester; and 1 part by weight to 15 parts by weight of a metal salt of a fatty acid and/or a hydroxyfatty acid. The cleaning agent composition is used for cleaning a flow channel for resin in a hot runner type mold.
