LINEAR MOTION MECHANISM OF INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE
A linear motion mechanism for moving an injection unit in the front-rear direction relative to a machine base supporting the injection unit includes: a pair of first linear guides configured to linearly move the injection unit relative to the machine base; and one or more pairs of second linear guides arranged on the rear side relative to the pair of first linear guides, and configured to linearly move the injection unit relative to the machine base.
Base for injection molding machine
A base for an injection molding machine has two side frames extending parallel with the axis of a drive actuator. Each of the side frames includes a lower flange supported by a bed, an upper flange disposed parallel with the lower flange, at least two webs connecting the upper flange and the lower flange, and a web reinforcing member fixed to the webs and penetrating through the webs. The side frames each have stiffeners connected between the lower and upper flanges and to one of the webs.
Injection molding machine
An injection molding machine includes, on a machine base, a mold having a stationary platen, an injection unit having a nozzle for injecting a molten material into the mold, a nozzle touch mechanism for pressing the nozzle against the mold, and a connecting member for connecting the nozzle touch mechanism and the stationary platen. The connecting member has a support base and an arm part, and also has a first connecting part to be connected to the nozzle touch mechanism on the support base, and a second connecting part to be connected to the stationary platen on an upper part of the arm part. The injection molding machine is configured so that a nozzle touch force is transmitted to the nozzle touch mechanism via the stationary platen and the connecting member. The second connecting part of the connecting member is disposed to be rotatable in a direction along a moving direction of the injection unit.
Compact clamp apparatus with integrated mold break
A clamp assembly for an injection molding machine includes (a) a clamp cylinder housing and (b) a clamp piston affixed to an end portion of a tie bar and slidable within the housing among a clamping position, a mold break position, and a meshing position disposed axially intermediate the clamping and the mold break positions. The clamp assembly further includes (c) a clamp chamber for urging the clamp piston towards the clamping position when pressurized; (d) a return device for urging the clamp piston towards the meshing position when pressure in the clamp chamber is relieved; and (e) a mold break chamber for urging the clamp piston towards the mold break position when pressurized. The mold break chamber is bounded axially by opposed surfaces of the tie bar and the return device.
FLEX PLATE FOR GUIDING DEVICE OF INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE
A flex plate for a guiding device of an injection molding machine includes a body extending between a front surface, a back surface, a top surface, and a bottom surface. A plurality of through holes extend between the top surface and the bottom surface for aligning the flex plate with a foot of the guiding device, and a plurality of guide shoe holes formed in the bottom surface of the flex plate couple the flex plate to a guide shoe of the guiding device. A front plate couples the front surface of the flex plate to the foot of the guiding device, and a plurality of slots define a central portion of the flex plate. The central portion of the flex plate is elastically deformable about a torsional axis and can pivot relative to the guide shoe and foot of the guiding device.
Holding member, work molding system, and work molding method
A work holding mechanism includes a body part having a three-dimensional shape including at least a recess or a protrusion, and an adsorption part for holding a work by adsorbing the work onto the body part in conformity to the three-dimensional shape of the recess or the protrusion provided in the body part. The work is held by being adsorbed in conformity to the three-dimensional shape of the body part, and, therefore, the amount of usage of the work in a work molding system can be reduced as compared with when the work is held so as to have a flat shape.
Mold clamping device and injection molding machine
There are provided a mold clamping device and an injection molding machine including a guide mechanism which reliably prevents falling of a movable platen. The mold clamping device includes: a fixed platen fixed to a bed; a mold clamping housing configured to be slidable on the bed; a movable platen configured to be slidable on the bed between the fixed platen and the mold clamping housing; a plurality of tie-bars connecting the fixed platen and the mold clamping housing and penetrating the movable platen; a mold clamping mechanism provided between the mold clamping housing and the movable platen; a linear guide provided with the movable platen and configured to slide with respect to the bed; and a tie-bar guide bush provided with the movable platen and configured to slide with respect to the tie-bar.
Injection molding apparatus with load-balancing mechanism
An apparatus for injecting a molten material including an injector, a rail, a bell crank, and a frame supporting the injector via the rail for guiding the linear translation of the injector along the frame. The apparatus includes a first guide and a second guide slideably coupled to the rail, the second guide attached to the injector and spaced from the first guide along the rail, and a bell crank coupled to the first guide and second guide to provide a load-balancing mechanism.
Injection molding machine
An injection molding machine for injecting a molten resin into a cavity of a molding die clamped in a die clamping unit via a nozzle formed in a heating cylinder to form a resin article includes a drive source. The drive source is configured to move the nozzle between a first position with the nozzle coupled to the molding die and a second position with the nozzle decoupled from the molding die. The drive source is also configured to pull out the molding die from the die clamping unit and to push the molding die into the die clamping unit.
