Assembly for creating an extruded pipe for use in a geothermal heat recovery operation

An assembly and process for forming a two stage extruded pipe having a central inner sleeve and a pair of outer attached lobes. The central sleeve shaped (also termed a grout receiving tube) is produced in an initial extrusion operation, following which it enters a cross head operation where a pair of outer lobes are attached to cross sectional exterior surface locations according to a second stage extrusion operation so as to be integrally formed therewith. Other steps include cooling of the dual stage extruded pipe, as well as sectioning and stacking the pipe. Additional steps include forming elongated slots or apertures into the central sleeve portion of the finished extrusion, such in non-interfering fashion with the individual passageway defining and lobes.

Assembly and process for creating an extruded marine dock bumper

An assembly and process for forming a two stage extrusion of an elongated marine dock from a plasticized material, such as including but act limited to extruding a first generally L shaped bracket from a first more rigid thermoplastic, following which a cross head die arrangement is utilized in order to extrude a secondary arcuate and flexible material in extending fashion from a lower side of the L bracket. The secondary/flexible elastomer is extracted in an open flexed position relative to the first extruded bracket, and further such that, following completion, can be flexed into a closed engagement with an upper perpendicularly extending side of the bracket.

PIPE WITH EMBEDDED WIRE

A corrugated pipe includes a corrugated pipe body circumscribing a hollow conduit and including alternating ribs and valleys extending along a longitudinal axis between a first end and a second end thereof. An electrically conductive wire is embedded in the corrugated pipe body, so that the wire spans adjacent ribs and valleys and extends substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis between the first and second ends.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SYNTHETIC RESIN SCOURING PAD

A method for manufacturing a synthetic resin scouring pad includes hot extruding a polymer by thermally melting a synthetic resin, along a T die having a straight extrusion port, to form a full width film sheet; cold-curing the film sheet by impregnating and quenching the extruded full width film sheet with cooling water of a cooling bath; forming flat film filaments by passing the full width film sheet lengthwise through a cutting part in which cutting blades are arranged at a predetermined width so as to dividingly-cut the full width film sheet into a predetermined width; passing the flat film filaments in the longitudinal direction through a coiling forming part to plastic-deform the flat film filaments into coil-shaped film filaments; and inputting the coil-shaped film filaments into an annular winding part so that the film filaments are wound in an annular shape to form a synthetic resin scouring pad.

A SOLAR-REACTIVE MULCH FILM
20180220597 · 2018-08-09 ·

A solar-reactive agricultural mulch film including a sheet of heat-shrink material having one or more layers and uniform thickness, formed by a mechanical process. The process includes elongating the sheet, in a longitudinal direction, evenly across a width of the sheet, while the sheet is at a stretching temperature to pre-strain the sheet evenly across the width, and yields the solar-reactive agricultural mulch film having the uniform thickness throughout and being configured to, in operation, shrink when an exposure temperature of the material is elevated, by exposure to solar energy, to a shrinking temperature. The process may include elevating the sheet to an above-ambient stretching temperature for the elongating, or elongating the sheet at an ambient temperature.

Polyethylene useful for producing film and molded articles in a process which uses solid state stretching

Applicants have discovered that certain polyethylene (PE) homopolymers or copolymers of ethylene and C.sub.3 to C.sub.10 alpha-olefin monomers are more suitable for oriented processes than other polyethylene resins. In an aspect, the PE has a MFI of 0.3 g/10 min. to 5.0 g/10 min., a melting point of from 110 C. to 140 C., a density of from 0.912 g/cm.sup.3 to 0.965 g/cm.sup.3(%), a haze of 10% or less, a clarity of at least 90, and a gloss of at least 60. The polyethylene is heated and formed into an article, cooled, and then the article is stretch oriented. In an embodiment, the film, tape, the melt extruded, injection blow molded, injection stretch blow molded, cast, and thermoformed articles that can be produced with this polyethylene has a thickness of 0.1 mil to 100 mils. The polyethylene exhibits excellent elasticity, toughness, stretch and optical properties for such applications.

This present invention discloses a modified thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) rolling film and relates to a preparation method thereof. The modified thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) rolling film comprises: 100 parts by weight of TPU resin, 3 to 8 parts by weight of Thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) resin, 5 to 10 parts by weight of Thermo Plastic Silicone Vulcanizate (TPSiV) resin, 5 to 15 parts by weight of TPU color masterbatch, 0.5 to 1.5 parts by weight of antioxidant, 0.5 to 1.5 parts by weight of light stabilizer, 10 to 15 parts by weight of flame retardant, and 0.03 to 0.1 parts by weight of compound lubricant. This kind of rolling film has a uniform thickness and high surface gloss, and is yellowing resistant, abrasion resistant, flame retardant, and low-temperature resistant.

Propylene homopolymer for high-tenacity fibers and nonwovens

Propylene homopolymers having a melt flow index in the range from 3.0 dg/min to 8.0 dg/min can be particularly suited for high-tenacity fibers and yarns and nonwovens. The propylene homopolymers can be produced by a process that can include polymerizing propylene in presence of a Ziegler-Natta polymerization catalyst, an aluminum alkyl, hydrogen and an optional external donor.

Provided is a molding hook and loop fastener, in which a barrier erected near left and right side edges of a substrate includes at least two rows of vertical wall arrays, and the vertical wall array includes a plurality of vertical walls disposed alternately. Between the two adjacent, rows of the vertical walls disposed alternately, each of the vertical walls disposed on one row is connected to two vertical walls disposed on the other row via a connecting part, and the connecting part connects one end portion of one vertical wall disposed on the adjacent row and the other end portion of the other vertical wall. Due to this, in the molding hook and loop fastener an outer side and an inner side of the barrier can be divided by the vertical wall array and the connecting part, and flexibility of the molding hook and loop fastener can be improved.
