RESIN SHEET HAVING HAIR-LIKE BODIES AND MOLDED ARTICLE THEREOF
A resin sheet having hair-like bodies arranged regularly on at least one surface of a base layer containing a thermoplastic resin, the surface with the hair-like bodies having a coefficient of friction, as measured according to KES, of 0.5 or more and 1.0 or less, a deviation of the coefficient of friction, as measured by KES, of 0.010 or more and 0.025 or less, and a deviation of roughness, as measured by KES, of 0.2 or more and 1.5 or less.
METHOD FOR MAKING A COMPOSITE MATERIAL
A hydroformed expanded spun bonded nonwoven has a first substantially planar surface on one side thereof and a second surface on an opposite side thereof. The second surface includes a plurality of protuberances in a pattern. The hydroformed expanded spun bonded nonwoven web has an average loft of at least about 1.3 times greater than an original average loft of an original unexpanded spun bonded nonwoven web from which the hydroformed expanded spun bonded nonwoven web was created and an air permeability of at least about 1.2 times greater than an original air permeability of the original unexpanded spun bonded nonwoven web. The hydroformed expanded spun bonded nonwoven web includes bicomponent fibers combining a polymer with PLA in a ratio of polymer/PLA within a range of about 20/80 to 80/20.
WIRE GRID STRUCTURE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR, AND PROJECTION SCREEN
A wire grid structure and a manufacturing method therefor, and a projection screen are provided. The manufacturing method includes: extruding a molten mixed material body in a melt extruder to a casting roll to form a casting piece; patterning the casting piece by means of an impression roll to form a precursor having a preset wire grid structure pattern, where the precursor is wound on the impression roll and has a first dimension in a height direction; stretching the precursor by a first group of stretching rolls and a second group of stretching rolls in two opposite directions along a direction perpendicular to the height direction to form the wire grid structure, a preset distance being configured between the first group of stretching rolls and the second group of stretching rolls. The wire grid structure has a second dimension in the height direction that is greater than the second dimension.
Silicone resin reflective substrate, manufacturing method for same, and base material composition used in reflective substrate
A versatile silicone resin reflective substrate which exhibits high reflectance of high luminance light from an LED light source over a wide wavelength from short wavelengths of approximately 340-500 nm, which include wavelengths from 380-400 nm near lower limit of the visible region, to longer wavelength in the infra-red region. The silicone resin reflective substrate has a reflective layer which contains a white inorganic filler powder dispersed in a three-dimensional cross linked silicone resin, the inorganic filler powder having a high reflective index than the silicone resin. The reflective layer is formed on a support body as a film, a solid, or a sheet. The silicone resin reflective substrate can be easily formed as a wiring substrate, a packaging case or the like, and can be manufactured at low cost and a high rate of production.
Interlayer film for colored laminated glass, and colored laminated glass
The present invention aims to provide an interlayer film for a colored laminated glass which exhibits a visible light transmittance Tv of 5% or lower, small variation in visible light transmittance and an excellent appearance when incorporated in a laminated glass together with two clear glass plates in conformity with JIS R3202 (1996), and a colored laminated glass produced using the interlayer film for a colored laminated glass. Provided is an interlayer film for a colored laminated glass exhibiting a visible light transmittance Tv of 5% or lower when incorporated in a laminated glass together with two clear glass plates in conformity with JIS R3202 (1996), the interlayer film for a colored laminated glass including a laminate of at least two layers including a first resin layer containing a thermoplastic resin and a colorant and a second resin layer containing a thermoplastic resin and no colorant, the first resin layer satisfying a ratio of a difference Δt.sub.1 in thickness between the maximum value t.sub.1max and the minimum value t.sub.1min to an average thickness (Δt.sub.1/average thickness of first resin layer) of 0.30 or less.
Decorative siding panel, siding system and method of manufacture
The present disclosure relates generally to cladding for covering a building surface, for example suitable for covering the exterior surface of a building. The present disclosure relates more particularly to a siding panel including a panel body having a length, a width, a front face, and a rear face. The panel body further includes a first strip extending along the length of the panel body with a three dimensional surface texture. The three dimensional surface texture is a geometric pattern repeating along the front face of the panel body. The panel body includes a second strip extending along the length of the panel body adjacent to the first strip with a surface texture that is different than that of the first strip. The siding panel further includes a first lock, a second lock, and a fastening strip secured to the first lock.
Method for preparing an adhesive polyolefin, adhesive polyolefin, use thereof, and manufactured article
The present invention refers to co-extrusion of one or more polyolefins with one or more adhesive layers to improve the adhesiveness of the polyolefins in metal, epoxy resin, glass, ceramics, paper, wood, thermoplastic resin, fabric, non-woven fabric, varnishes and formica. More specifically, the present invention refers to a method of co-extruding at least one polyolefin with an adhesive layer, thereby enhancing the adhesion properties of the polyolefin, particularly in polyurethane foams such that a polar surface is imparted to the obtained adhesived polyolefin.
