In one embodiment, an apparatus and a method of manufacturing a paperboard tray therewith is provided. In particular, a hub is configured to rotate about a shaft. On the hub, a plurality of first molds are formed in the hub. Conversely, a plurality of second molds are each disposed above each of the plurality of first molds respectively and rotate above the first molds. In this configuration, the plurality of second molds are configured to move in unison with the plurality of first molds as the hub and second molds rotate and to move orthogonally towards and then away from the first molds as the second molds rotate.

The invention provides a synthetic resin container with a plurality of handgrips on its top face and a manufacturing method for such a container. The plurality of handgrips, as well as a metal cap opening, are molded in advance as insertion components. After heating the fusion portions of the insertion components, the insertion components are disposed parallel to the direction in which a parison is to be placed. Thereafter, a parison is placed into dies, and the dies are clamped. Air is blown into the parison through the metal cap opening to fuse the parison and the insertion components.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A PLASTIC FUEL TANK WITH IMPROVED CREEP STRENGTH

A method for manufacturing a plastic fuel tank including: a) inserting a plastic parison including two distinct parts into an open two-cavity mold; b) inserting a core, bearing at least part of a reinforcing element configured to create a link between the two parison parts, inside the parison; c) pressing the parison firmly against the mold cavities, for example by blowing through the core and/or creating suction behind the cavities; d) fixing the part of the reinforcing element to at least one of the parison parts using the core; e) withdrawing the core; f) closing the mold, bringing its two cavities together to grip the two parison parts around their periphery to weld them together; g) injecting a pressurized fluid into the mold and/or creating a vacuum behind the mold cavities to press the parison firmly against the mold cavities; and h) opening the mold and extracting the tank.

VEHICLE FUEL STORAGE SYSTEM INCLUDING A BLADDER

A vehicle fuel storage system may include: a fuel tank, a support member extending inside the tank, and several inflatable bladders extending inside the tank. Each of the inflatable bladders being carried by the support member and attached to the support member. Such bladders may include polyethylene and/or polyamide, or the bladders may be multilayered, including polyethylene and ethylene vinyl alcohol. Each bladder may have a maximum volume in a range of from 5 to 15 liters.

DEVICE FOR A FUEL TANK FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE

A device is for a plastic gasoline tank for a motor vehicle. The device includes a frame, an internal reinforcing element of a gasoline system, and a movable support of the component. The movable support is attached to the frame and movable relative to the frame between an initial configuration in which the reinforcing element is at a first distance from the frame and a final configuration in which the reinforcing element is at a second distance from the frame. The first distance is smaller than the second distance. The frame is provided with a structure for stopping the movement of the movable support when the movable support is in the final configuration.
