ASPIRATION CATHETER SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF USE
20220313292 · 2022-10-06 ·

Described are methods, systems, devices for facilitation of intraluminal medical procedures within the neurovasculature. A catheter advancement device includes a flexible elongate body having a proximal portion coupled to a proximal end region of the flexible elongate body and extending proximally to a proximal-most end of the catheter advancement element. A hardness of the flexible elongate body transitions proximally towards increasingly harder materials up to the proximal portion forming a first plurality of material transitions. At least a portion of the flexible elongate body is formed of a plurality of layers including a reinforcement layer. An outer diameter of the flexible elongate body is sized to be positioned coaxially within a lumen of a catheter such that a distal tip portion of the flexible elongate body extends distally beyond a distal end of the catheter to aid in delivery of the catheter to an intracranial vessel.

MULTIPLE-USE PROCESSING UNIT FOR THE ELECTRONIC PROCESSING OF SENSOR SIGNALS, IN PARTICULAR SENSOR SIGNALS OF A SENSOR OF A BALLOON CATHETER
20220280115 · 2022-09-08 ·

A processing system including a processing unit is configured to be connected to a catheter in a releasable fashion via a connecter portion of a housing. The processing unit is configured to exchange data with a component of the catheter and at least one of a database, a computer network, and a computer device. The processing unit includes an integrated circuit for processing the data.

Medicant applicator
11439803 · 2022-09-13 · ·

A medicant dispenser enabling the effective administration of tableted pharmaceutical products within a body cavity has a plunger, a barrel, and a deformable tip. The deformable tip provides a suitable leading element to allow the barrel to enter the body cavity, wherein the plunger may be pushed to eject the tableted pharmaceutical products into the body cavity through the deformable tip. More specifically, the deformable tip will comprise a plurality of cuspids fixed to a support ring, wherein the support ring is fitted to a terminal end of the barrel. The plurality of cuspids will collapse concentrically to form a tapered leading element of the medicant applicator while retaining the capacity to separate to allow passage of the tableted pharmaceutical products and a head of the plunger therethrough.

Inventory sparing catheter system

Some embodiments relate to a catheter system having a changeable or adjustable working length. The catheter system can comprise a proximal end, a distal end, and a first axial lumen configured to receive a guidewire formed through at least a portion of the catheter body. A first opening can be formed through a portion of the catheter body and be in communication with the first lumen. The sheath can be rotatable, axially movable, or otherwise changeable from at least a first position to a second position, wherein the sheath can substantially cover the first opening in the catheter body in the first position, and can substantially expose the first opening in the catheter body in the second position.

Occlusion access method

A catheter system for accessing the central venous system through an occlusion in the neck region.

MICRO-NEEDLE ARRAY COMPRISING A COLOR CHANGE INDICATOR
20220203080 · 2022-06-30 ·

The invention relates to a microneedle array and to the use thereof for intradermal delivery, comprising a plurality of microneedles on a carrier, wherein this microneedle array is suitable for penetrating the skin of humans or animals and includes at least one color change indicator.

EUSTACHIAN TUBE DILATION BALLOON WITH VENTILATION PATH

An apparatus comprises a shaft, an expandable dilator, and at least one ventilation pathway. The shaft defines a longitudinal axis and comprises a distal and proximal ends with at least one shaft lumen. The expandable dilator comprises body with its own proximal and distal ends. The body is configured to transition between a contracted state and an expanded state. The body is configured to dilate a Eustachian tube of a patient in the expanded state. The at least one ventilation pathway is configured to provide ventilation from the distal end of the body to the proximal end of the body when the body is in the expanded state. In some examples, the ventilation pathway comprises a set of transversely oriented vent openings formed through the shaft. In some other examples, the ventilation pathway comprises a space defined between one or more radially outwardly protruding features of the expandable dilator.

CATHETER SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ABLATING VARICOSE VEINS

In some embodiments, the disclosure describes a catheter system for applying energy to a vessel, such as a vein. The system may include an elongate catheter shaft having a distal end and a proximal end opposite the distal end, and an energy application device coupled to the distal end of the elongate catheter shaft. The energy application device may be configured to apply energy to the vessel. The system may also include a gauge positioned relative to a working surface. The gauge may be configured to determine a distance that the elongate catheter shaft travels with respect to a treatment zone.

NEEDLE POSITION INDICATOR
20220249809 · 2022-08-11 ·

A catheter system having one or more needle position indicators to assist an operator in withdrawing the introducer needle to a “parked” position, as part of a catheterization procedure, wherein the needle position indicator provides a visual indication to the operator.
