Pipe with embedded wire
A corrugated pipe includes a corrugated pipe body circumscribing a hollow conduit and including alternating ribs and valleys extending along a longitudinal axis between a first end and a second end thereof. An electrically conductive wire is embedded in the corrugated pipe body, so that the wire spans adjacent ribs and valleys and extends substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis between the first and second ends.
Continuous Polymeric Liner Production Methods for Conformable Pressure Vessels
A method and apparatus for forming a pressure vessel liner are disclosed. One method includes forming an extruded tube by extruding a parison through a die and a mandrel and forming main body sections and return line sections in the extruded tube according to a first pattern. A cross-sectional area of the return line sections is smaller than a cross-sectional area of the main body sections. The method further includes changing the pattern according to which the main body sections and the return line sections are formed from the first pattern to a second pattern without stopping the forming of the extruded tube and forming the main body sections and the return line sections in the extruded tube according to the second pattern.

Openable corrugated hose, cable harness and method for producing an openable corrugated hose of this kind
The present invention provides an openable corrugated hose for accommodating lines, comprising: a first corrugated hose shell, a second corrugated hose shell, a joint section, at which the first corrugated hose shell and the second corrugated hose shell are each connected to one another pivotably in a first end section, and a lip section, which is provided on a second end section of at least one of the corrugated hose shells, wherein the lip section is manufactured from a different material than the corrugated hose shells.
Plastic Corrugated Tube for Surrounding Pipes and Method for Producing Such a Corrugated Tube
A plastic corrugated tube for surrounding pipes, having corrugations distributed over its length and a longitudinal slit running along a lateral longitudinal line is provided. The corrugated tube can be converted into an open position by opening the longitudinal slit and into a closed position in which edge regions of the corrugated tube overlap, wherein the corrugated tube is elastically prestressed toward its dosed position. The corrugations on the edge region of the corrugated tube, which in the closed position lies radially below the other edge region of the corrugated tube, are offset radially inwards within a predefined circumferential region with respect to the corrugations outside this circumferential region and are designed such that, in the closed position, they are in engagement with the radial underside of the corrugations of the other edge region, which corrugations engage over them such that they are mutually displaceable in the circumferential direction.

Reducing crimping damage to a polymer scaffold
A medical device includes a polymer scaffold crimped to a catheter having an expansion balloon. The scaffold is crimped to the catheter by a multi-step process for increasing scaffold-catheter yield following a crimping sequence. Damage reduction during a crimping sequence includes modifying blades of a crimper, adopting a multi-step crimping sequence, and inflating a supporting balloon to support the scaffold during crimping.

Injection head for an apparatus for the production of a twin-wall pipe
An injection head for an apparatus for the production of twin-wall pipes has an external melt channel leading to an external nozzle and an internal melt channel leading to an internal nozzle. From the internal melt channel, a conically expanding internal nozzle channel leads to an internal nozzle outlet of the internal nozzle. In the region of the internal nozzle channel, an internal nozzle adjustment device is arranged by means of which the gap cross-section of the internal nozzle channel is displaceable and adjustable up to the internal nozzle outlet by radial displacement.
