POLYMERIC BAGS AND METHOD TO MAKE SAME
The present invention is directed to a bag of polymeric film and a method to make the bag. The bag can be comprised of a front panel and a rear panel. The front and rear panels can each be comprised of multiple layers of film. The bag can be formed from a collapsed bubble of polymeric film that has been folded in half so that opposing edges of the collapsed bubble form an opening of the bag. One of the layers of the folded bubble can be split adjacent to an edge of the collapsed bubble and a draw tape film can be inserted between the layers of the folded and collapsed bubble. The collapsed bubble can further be embossed by a pattern that can provide enhanced properties to bags formed from the folded bubble.
Double-sided optical sheets
Disclosed are methods for forming a double-sided optical sheet, and a vehicle lamp assembly having the double-sided optical sheet integrated therein. A first optical pattern is imprinted on a first side of a material, and a second optical pattern is imprinted on a second side of the material, opposite the first side. The first and second optical patterns are thereby formed on opposing sides of the same sheet. When oriented adjacent a light source, the double-sided optical sheet homogenizes light emitted from the light source. For a light source having a plurality of lighting elements, the double-sided optical sheet is configured to blend light emitted from the plurality of lighting elements to form one homogenous beam of light output resulting from a single light-modifying member.
MICRO-GROOVE DRAG REDUCTION FLEXIBLE FILM AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
The disclosure provides a micro-groove drag reduction flexible film and a preparation method thereof. The micro-groove film has a triangular groove structure on the upper surface along the direction of an air flow, and an adhesive layer on the lower surface for quick adhesion to an aircraft surface. After the surface of the aircraft is covered with a micro-groove film, it could limit the spanwise movement of the bottom air at the boundary layer of the aircraft surface, improve the flow field characteristics of the aircraft near the wall, and effectively reduce the frictional resistance of the wall. The micro-groove flexible film is prepared by a roller hot pressing method. The triangular groove structure is processed on the surface of the mold roller of the double roller hot press. After pretreatment of the thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) polymer film, a micro-groove structure is hot-pressed on the surface of the TPU film.
WAVEGUIDE AND METHOD FOR FABRICATING A WAVEGUIDE MASTER GRATING TOOL
There is provided a method for fabricating a waveguide master grating imprint tool. The method comprises: coating a substrate with at least one photoresist layer; selectively exposing a first diffraction grating master profile onto a first area of the at least one photoresist layer; selectively exposing a second diffraction grating master profile onto a second area of the at least one photoresist layer; and processing the substrate to form the first diffraction grating master profile and the second diffraction grating master profile. Each of the first diffraction grating profile and the second diffraction grating profile comprises an edge between the substrate and the respective grating profile that is substantially perpendicular to the substrate surface and each of the edges is substantially the same height as a maximum depth of the first diffraction grating master profile and the second diffraction grating master profile
PERIODONTAL TISSUE REGENERATION INDUCER AND APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A periodontal tissue regeneration inducer and an apparatus and a method for manufacturing the same are provided. The periodontal tissue regeneration inducer includes a sheet body formed of a flexible material, and a pattern layer having a pattern formed therein to facilitate bone formation or regeneration on a surface of the sheet body. Therefore, the periodontal tissue regeneration inducer and the apparatus and method for manufacturing the same have an advantage in that the bone formation or regeneration may be facilitated during implant surgery because the membrane sheet is composed of a polycaprolactone (PCL) material and a nanopattern is formed on a surface of the pattern layer.
MOLDING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR EMBOSSING A RAW MATERIAL
This molding apparatus is intended for the manufacturing of a molded article from a raw material intended to be arranged in a first region of an embossing chamber of the molding apparatus. The embossing chamber includes a mold and a counter-mold, the molds being arranged on two opposite sides of the first region. The molding apparatus further includes a second chamber having a common wall with the embossing chamber and a pressurization system configured to generate a predefined pressure differential between the embossing chamber and the second chamber, the common wall including at least one embossing actuator, the embossing actuator being configured to generate a movement of at least one of the molds so as to mold the raw material when a predefined pressure differential is applied.
Clamping device
A clamping device has an actuator that moves linearly and is actuated by a drive. A pivoting clamping element is operatively connected, via a toggle lever mechanism, with the actuator. The toggle lever mechanism includes a drive-side adapter and a hand lever-side adapter. The drive side adapter and hand lever side adapter can be adjusted relative to one another to define an opening angle of the clamping element. One of the adapters has a profiled bar extending in a direction of actuation. The other adapter has an insertion region to accommodate the bar. A fixing element is provided in one of the adaptors to define the location of the adapters relative to one another. The fixing element can be clamped against the profiled bar and also against an insertion region.

A disposable absorbent having a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet, is described herein. The topsheet has first and second webs where the second web forms a body-contacting surface of the disposable absorbent article and the first web is disposed between the second web and the absorbent core. The second web is hydrophobic compared to the first web. And, the second web is a nonwoven with a plurality of fibers having a diameter less than about 10 microns.
