Various applicators are disclosed. The applicators may be used to deposit medication inside a vagina. In one embodiment, the applicator includes a tube and a bulb. The tube has a stiff cylindrical body having one end connected to the bulb and a flexible membrane arranged at a another end of the tube. The applicator is generally airtight and the orientation of the flexible membrane is controlled by squeezing the bulb. When the bulb is squeezed the flexible membrane inverts to outside the body when the bulb is released the flexible membrane and returns to inside the body.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR LUBRICANT DELIVERY

Disclosed are suppositories and methods of use thereof for lubricating an internal surface of a body cavity. A suppository may be composed of a shell defining an internal volume and a lubricant at least partially occupying the internal volume. The shell may be prone to degrade in that a rate of degradation thereof may increase when the suppository is in a certain condition, such as being exposed to an external environment or being positioned inside the body cavity. Once sufficient degradation of the shell has occurred while the suppository is inside the body cavity, the lubricant may be released and applied onto an internal surface of the body cavity. Medical procedures or pleasurable activities related to the body cavity may then be performed which rely upon or are aided in part by the lubrication of the body cavity's internal surface.

Repositionable surgical tampon

A conformable surgical tampon for disposition into and removal from an anatomical cavity of a mammalian patient by a doctor to absorb and collect bodily fluids. The tampon comprises an absorbent chassis material and a plurality of spaced apart positioning strings attached to the chassis. The spaced apart positioning strings are operative to selectively position the conformable nasopharyngeal tampon within an anatomical cavity of a patient responsive to manipulation of a positioning string by a surgeon. The tampon is particularly suited for nasopharyngeal surgery.
