MOLDING SUBSTRATE
The present invention relates to a molding substrate capable of realizing an exterior material for a vehicle from which the attached snow or ice is more easily peeled off. As a result of continuing studies by the applicant of the present application, it has been found that the problem that the adhered snow and ice hardly peels off, which occurs on a molding base material provided with a fiber base layer containing a core-sheath type conjugate fiber in which the sheath portion is a polypropylene-based resin and the core portion is a polyester-based resin, can be solved by adjusting the mass percentage of the core-sheath type conjugate fiber occupying the fiber constituting the fiber base material layer. Specifically, the present inventors have provided a molding substrate which can realize an exterior material such as an exterior material for a vehicle from which adhered snow or ice is easily peeled off, by being a molding substrate having a fiber base layer having a mass percentage of more than 70% by mass.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PRODUCING A REINFORCING BAR, AND RESULTING REINFORCING BAR
A method for producing a reinforcing bar by pultrusion, the method comprising the steps of: a) providing a source of fibres; b) assembling the fibres into a bundle; c) impregnating the bundle with a thermosetting resin; d) eliminating excess resin from the bundle; e) compressing the bundle in a centripetal manner; f) exposing the bundle to a radiant energy source; g) spraying particles onto a surface of the bundle; and h) exposing the bundle to radiation in order to initiate, on the surface of same, the polymerisation of the resin. The present invention also concerns a system provided with corresponding devices in order to be able to implement the method. The present invention also concerns a reinforcing bar obtained with the described method and/or system.

MULTILAYER STRUCTURE FOR TRANSPORTING OR STORING HYDROGEN
A multilayer structure selected from a reservoir, a pipe or a tube, for transporting, distributing or storing hydrogen, including, from the inside to the outside, at least one sealing layer and at least one composite reinforcing layer, the innermost composite reinforcing layer being welded to the outermost adjacent sealing layer, the sealing layers including at least one semi-crystalline thermoplastic polymer, the Tm of which is less than 280° C., wherein the at least one thermoplastic polymer of each sealing layer may be the same or different, and at least one of the composite reinforcing layers being of a fibrous material in the form of continuous fibers impregnated with a composition of at least one thermoplastic polymer P2j, the thermoplastic polymer P2j having a Tg greater than the maximum temperature of use of said structure (Tu), with Tg≥Tu+20° C., Tu being greater than 50° C.
Methods for forming footwear using recycled plastics
Presented are manufacturing systems, methods, and devices for forming footwear using scrap or waste plastic materials. A method for manufacturing an article of footwear, such as an athletic shoe, begins with receiving a batch of recycled plastic, which may include thermoplastic elastomers or ethylene-vinyl acetate, and grinding the batch of recycled plastic material. The ground recycled material is processed, for example, by adding a foaming agent that activates at elevated temperatures. The processed recycled material is placed into the internal cavity of a final mold that is shaped like a segment of the footwear, such as a unitary sole structure. To form the footwear segment, the processed recycled material is heated past the threshold activation temperature of the foaming agent such that the foaming agent causes the recycled material to expand and fill the internal cavity of the final mold. The formed footwear segment is then extracted from the mold.
