Apparatus and method for repair of asphalt shingles
A wafer for repairing damage to asphalt shingles comprising a first layer of a rubberized asphalt, a fiber matrix layer and a second layer of the rubberized asphalt. The first and second layers of rubberized asphalt sandwich and are bound to the fiber matrix layer forming an integrated wafer. The wafer is formed in a select shape.

TIRE REPAIR KIT SYSTEM AND METHOD
A method for repairing a tire is provided that includes: (a) providing a reamer, a knife, an insertion tool forming a receiving opening, a plugging strip, and vulcanizing fluid; (b) inserting the reamer into a puncture hole of a tire to clear debris; (c) applying the vulcanizing fluid; (d) inserting the plugging strip into the insertion tool; (e) inserting the insertion tool with the plugging strip into the puncture hole to cause the plugging strip to fold into the puncture hole mixed with the vulcanizing fluid to bond the plugging strip and the tire; (f) removing the insertion tool from the puncture hole causing a middle portion of the plugging strip to fold internally forming a four-layer seal within the puncture hole; and (g) cutting the plugging strip from the insertion tool and the excess portions of the plugging strip with the knife.

TIRE REPAIR INSERT
An illustrated view of an exemplary tire repair insert device for repairing a puncture of a tire is presented. The tire repair insert device is useful for repairing a simple puncture of a tire in a time and cost-efficient method. The tire repair insert device provides temporary repair until a permanent repair can be made, while preventing further damage and drivability of a vehicle. The tire repair insert device is a fast and easy process to follow and allows independence for those not physically able to replace a tire.
Repair patch, method for molding repair patch, method for repairing composite material, and molding jig
A repair patch includes a composite material to repair a a repair target of a composite material. The repair patch includes bonding surfaces which face a bonded surface of a counterbored hole formed in the part to be repaired, and are bonded to the counterbored hole; and an opposite surface opposite to the bonding surfaces in a thickness direction. The opposite surface has a curved plane with a first surface side curvature radius protruding toward the opposite surface in a cross section cut along a plane intersecting an axial direction in the opposite surface. The bonded surface has a curved plane with a second surface side curvature radius protruding toward the bonding surfaces facing the bonded surface in a cross section cut along a plane intersecting an axial direction in the bonded surface. The first surface side curvature radius is smaller than the second surface side curvature radius.

TIRE REPAIR KIT SYSTEM AND METHOD WITH TRI-LAYER STRIPS
A method for repairing a tire including: (a) providing a reamer, an insertion tool with a receiving opening, a tri-layer strip, and vulcanizing fluid; (b) inserting the reamer into a puncture hole of a tire to clear debris; (c) applying the vulcanizing fluid; (d) inserting the tri-layer strip into the insertion tool; (e) inserting the insertion tool and tri-layer strip into the puncture hole; wherein the insertion tool extends linearly from a first end of a center base of a first bilateral elongated tool member and a cavity encasing extending from a second end of the center base of the first bilateral elongated tool member in an opposite direction configured for housing a plurality of the tri-layer strips; and (f) removing the insertion tool from the puncture hole causing a center portion of the tri-layer strip to fold forming a four-layer seal within the puncture hole.
REPAIR OR RESUMPTION OF MANUFACTURE OF A COMPOSITE MATERIAL PART WITH FIBROUS THREE-DIMENSIONAL WOVEN REINFORCEMENT
A method for repairing a part made of composite material includes producing a recessed section by removing the composite material at a damaged area, producing grooves extending on the two faces of the part from edges of the recessed section, producing orifices in the part opening out into the grooves, tree-dimensional weaving of a filling part fiber preforms including a central section having a shape corresponding to the shape of the recessed section and fiber bundles extending from the central section, placing the filling preforms respectively on either face of the part with the fiber bundles in the grooves on the faces of the part and in the orifices such that the fiber bundles open out into the grooves present on the opposite face of the part, impregnating the filling fiber preforms with a precursor resin of a matrix, transforming the resin into a matrix to obtain a filling part.
