Method of preparing membranes
A method of preparing a membrane comprising the steps of: a) mixing together a membrane-forming polymer, a water-soluble polyetheramine, and a solvent, said mixture containing no component which will react chemically with the polyetheramine; and b) casting said mixture to form the polymer into a solid membrane.
3-D printed fluoropolymer structures
The invention relates to fluoropolymer filament for use in 3-D printing, and 3-D printed fluoropolymer articles having low warpage, excellent chemical resistance, excellent water resistance, flame resistance, and good mechanical integrity. Additionally, the articles of the invention have good shelf life without the need for special packaging. In particular, the invention relates to filament, 3-D printed polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) articles, and in particular material extrusion 3-D printing. The articles may be formed from PVDF homopolymers, copolymers, such as KYNAR® resins from Arkema, as well as polymer blends with appropriately defined low shear melt viscosity. The PVDF may optionally be a filled PVDF formulation. The physical properties of the 3-D printed articles can be maximized and warpage minimized by optimizing processing parameters.
MULTILAYER FLEXIBLE TUBE AND METHODS FOR MAKING SAME
A multilayer flexible tube includes an inner layer including a melt processable fluoropolymer, wherein the fluoropolymer includes a copolymer of a poly vinylidene fluoride (PVDF) and a hexafluoropropylene (HFP); and an outer layer including a melt processable polymer having a shore hardness less than a shore hardness of the inner layer, wherein the multilayer flexible tube has a maximum storage modulus of at least 300 MegaPascal (MPa) at a temperature of about −10° C.
COMPOSITIONS FOR BIPOLAR PLATES AND METHODS FOR PREPARING SAME
The invention relates to a method for producing a composition comprising the steps of: melt-blending a fluorinated polymer, preferably a polyvinylidene fluoride polymer, with a first conductive filler so as to obtain a conductive fluorinated polymer; grinding to powder said conductive fluorinated polymer; mixing the powder of conductive fluorinated polymer with a second conductive filler. The invention also relates to a composition comprising a second conductive filler and particles of conductive fluorinated polymer, wherein the particles of conductive fluorinated polymer comprise a fluorinated polymer matrix in which a first conductive filler is dispersed The invention also relates to a method for producing a bipolar plate and to a bipolar plate.

Process for fabricating a colored powder coating composition from solid filaments
A process for fabricating a powder coating composition having a desired color from solid input filaments. A plurality of solid input filaments is fed to a mixer in accordance with an input formulation for a color. The input filaments are liquefied at the mixer, and the liquefied input filaments are combined together in the mixer into an extrudate mixture. The extrudate mixture is removed from the mixer, solidified, and then the solidified extrudate mixture is milled into a powder.
