A RESPIRATORY PROTECTIVE DEVICE OR FACE MASK HYGIENE PRODUCT, A METHOD FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF REINFORCED TEXTILE PART, NONWOVEN FABRIC PART OR THEIR COMBINATION PART, AND A FILTER
A faceblank (5) for a respiratory protective device or face mask hygiene product (1), where the shape of the faceblank (5) defines a number of filter openings (2, 3, 4) and which further comprises a head harness (6) or fastening for a head harness (6) and is characterised in that the filter openings (2, 3, 4) have been implemented to comprise a tongue (7), most advantageously so that the edge of each opening (2, 3, 4) is composed of a tongue. The faceblank is used with a number of replaceable filters (10) adapted in the filter openings (2, 3, 4) of the faceblank (5), each filter (10) comprising a filter part (11) and a frame (12) that encircles the filter part (11), in which frame (12) the outer edge has been implemented to comprise a groove (13)—most advantageously so that the outer edge of each frame (12) consists of a groove (13)—so that the filters (10) are fastenable to the filter openings (2, 3, 4) of the faceblank (5) by means of a tongue-and-groove connection, in which case the tongue (7) and groove (13) form an air-tight tongue-and-groove connection. Further independent claims directed to filters and methods for the manufacture of reinforced textile part, nonwoven fabric part or their combination part.
PEEL PLY FOR SURFACE PREPARATION AND BONDING METHOD USING THE SAME
A method for surface preparation of a composite substrate prior to adhesive bonding. The surface preparation method includes applying a resin-containing peel ply onto a composite substrate, followed by co-curing. The resin-containing peel ply contains a non-removable textile carrier and a removable woven fabric embedded therein. After co-curing, the peel ply is removed from the composite substrate such that the removable woven fabric is removed but the non-removable textile carrier and a film of residual resin remain on the composite substrate, thereby creating a modified, bondable surface on the composite substrate. The composite substrate with the modified surface can be bonded to another composite substrate, whereby the textile carrier remains an integrated part of the final bonded structure.

Profile connection
A connection includes: a first profile having a first end, the first profile including a first polymeric material comprising a thermoset material; and a second profile having a second end, the second profile including a second polymeric material, a metal, or combination thereof, wherein the first end and the second end are coincidently bonded without a bonding material at an interface of the first end and the second end.
Fuel tank
A fuel tank includes: a tank main body made of a resin material; and a cover member which is formed using threads made of a fiber-reinforced composite material containing a thermoplastic resin fusible to a surface of the tank main body. The cover member has a twill weave structure at least in its portion fused to the upper surface of the tank main body. The threads each have a core-sheath structure in which a fiber made of a polypropylene resin is coated with a polyethylene resin.
PROFILE CONNECTION
A connection including a first profile having a first end and a first lumen, the first profile including a first polymeric material and a second profile having a second end and a second lumen, the second profile including a second polymeric material, a metal, or combination thereof, wherein the first end and the second end are coincidently welded via an ionized gas treatment.

METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A COMPOSITE PART COMPRISING A CORE AND AT LEAST ONE SKIN REGION
A method of manufacturing a composite part comprising, a core (16) and at least one skin region (20, 22) formed of a skin polymer attached thereto, the skin polymer being a low-friction thermoplastic polymer, by: a) providing a mold with a heatable mold cavity; b) loading into the mold cavity a core element having a surface with at least one contacting region provided with a plurality of anchoring sites (10), andpreviously or subsequentlyloading into the mold cavity a layer of the skin polymer in powder form adjacent said contacting region and embedding the anchoring sites; c) applying a heat pressing step melting the skin polymer powder to form a molten skin polymer matrix (20, 22, 32); d) applying a cooling step, solidifying the skin polymer matrix forming a skin region mechanically engaged into anchoring sites of the core element forming the core.
THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITE AND METHOD OF PREPARING THE SAME
Disclosed is a resin composite having improved tensile properties and a method of preparing the same. Particularly, the resin composite comprises a matrix resin and a reinforcement resin which are made of thermoplastic resin compositions.
SILICONE MEMBRANES
A method for covering a roof, the method comprising (i) providing first and second silicone membranes, where the membranes are in the form of rolls; (ii) unrolling the first and second silicone membranes over a roof surface; (iii) positioning first and second membranes adjacent to one another and overlapping and edge of the second over an adjacent edge of the first membrane to thereby form a lap; (iv) securing the first and second membranes to the roof surface; and (v) seaming the first membrane to the second membrane in the lap.
