Nebuliser Device
A nebuliser device with a vibrating mesh, for administering medicaments, includes a casing, a nozzle, a nebuliser and a chamber that houses a medicament. The chamber housing a medicament is a disposable capsule forming an independent body that can be extracted from the casing of the device. The disposable capsule includes a connector for attaching to the nebuliser and to the casing. The connector allow the disposable capsule to be coupled to the nebuliser device or uncoupled therefrom.
Apparatus and Method for Delivering Fluids and/or Gases to the Lungs
An apparatus and method for providing heat exchange in the lungs of the mammal during partial liquid ventilation are provided. The apparatus and method can control delivery and removal of partial liquid ventilation to the lungs of a mammal by responding to pressure change in the lungs to minimize danger of causing barotrauma to the patient.
INHALATION DEVICE, SYSTEM AND METHOD
A device, system, and method for vaporizing substances in a pod or a cartridge, utilized for inhalation by a user. The device includes components to measure the content and dosage pods or cartridges containing substances, among other features. The device includes a graphical user interface that may be integrated with the device or implemented through a mobile device, which allows the user to transmit user data to a remote database and/or healthcare provider for personal and clinical data collection. The user data can be used for enhancing personal treatment or clinical research.
Syringe systems and methods for multi-stage fluid delivery
A syringe-based device includes a housing, the housing including a port, and an actuator mechanism including a first member and a second member configured to be movably disposed within the housing. The first member includes a syringe body and a plunger movably disposed within the syringe body and including a first plunger seal. The second member includes a second plunger seal defining a channel and a valve fluidically coupled with the channel of the second plunger seal. The device also includes a first fluid reservoir and a second fluid reservoir. The device transitions from a first configuration to a second configuration in which a first type of fluid in the first fluid reservoir is delivered through a port, to a third configuration in which a second type of fluid within the second fluid reservoir is delivered through the port.
METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR CONSISTENT INTRACORONARY ADMINISTRATION OF A BIOLOGIC
Some embodiments provided herein relate to methods, systems and kits for providing consistent intracoronary administration of a biologic to subjects having diverse coronary anatomies. In some embodiments, the biologic is an adeno-associated virus serotype 1 (AAV1) vector encoding sarcoplasmic/endoplasmic reticulum ATPase 2a (SERCA2a) protein.
Glaucoma treatment device
Methods and devices are adapted for implanting into the eye. An incision is formed in the cornea of the eye and a shunt is inserted through the incision into the anterior chamber of the eye. The shunt includes a fluid passageway. The shunt is passed along a pathway from the anterior chamber through the scleral spur of the eye into the suprachoroidal space and positioned in a first position such that a first portion of the fluid passageway communicates with the anterior chamber and a second portion of the fluid passageway communicates with the suprachoroidal space to provide a fluid passageway between the suprachoroidal space and the anterior chamber.
Nebuliser Device
A nebuliser device with a vibrating mesh, for administering medicaments is provided. The nebuliser device includes a casing, a nozzle, a nebuliser and a chamber that houses a medicament. The chamber housing a medicament is a disposable capsule forming an independent body that can be extracted from the casing of the device. The disposable capsule attaches to the nebuliser and to the casing. An attachment between the nebuliser and the casing allows the disposable capsule to be coupled to the nebuliser device or to be uncoupled therefrom.
INHALATION DEVICE
An inhalation device (1) comprising a compressor (2), an aerosol generator (3) and a pressure relief valve (4), wherein the compressor (2) is configured to provide a compressed gas for the aerosol generator (3) and the pressure relief valve (4) is configured to limit a pressure in the inhalation device (1).
METHODS AND MEDICAL ELONGATE BODIES
A method and a medical elongate body are configured to prevent stagnation or turbulence of blood flow in a recess of a rugged pattern formed in a blood vessel due to bulging of a blood vessel wall at a lesion part of the blood vessel. The method involves partitioning an inside of the blood vessel into upstream and downstream sides of the recess, and introducing gel into the recess to at least partially fill the recess. A blood vessel lumen forming method and medical elongate body to form such a lumen are other aspects of the disclosure and involve introducing gel into the recess to at least partially fill the recess with the gel, and drilling the gel to remove at least some of the gel to form a passage and secure blood flow in the blood vessel.
FUNNEL SUPPORT ACCESSORY FOR A BREAST PUMPING SYSTEM
A funnel support accessory attaches to a breastfeeding garment, such as a nursing bra, to support a funnel of a breast pumping system at a nipple area of the wearer's breast, so as to generally conceal the wearer's breasts and allow the wearer to perform other tasks while pumping in a hands-free manner. The funnel support accessory includes a fabric panel having at least one central opening configured to engage the funnel of the breast pumping system. The funnel support accessory also includes an engagement element disposed at an upper portion of the fabric panel to attach to an attachment feature of a breastfeeding garment. The fabric panel supports the engaged funnel of the breast pumping system generally over an exposed nipple area, such that the funnel seals against the nipple area without using a hand to support the funnel.
