Multilayer film for label and a method for providing such
The invention relates to providing a method for obtaining a multilayer film for thermally inducible shrink labels, products thereof and use of such products.
RESIN COMPONENT, AND MOLDING METHOD AND MOLDING DEVICE FOR SAME
An instrument panel (10) includes a base material portion (20) made of a base material M1 and a different material portion (30) made of a different material M2 having a different thermal shrinkage from that of the base material M1, and in the instrument panel (10), the base material portion (20) and the different material portion (30) are connected in a state such that at least a part of the two materials do not overlap.
CATHETER LEAD AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE THEREOF
Catheter lead for a procedure comprising a tubular member with at least one conductive wire. The tubular member having a proximal end and a distal end with the distal end of the catheter comprising at least one electrode in communication with the conductive wire and wherein the at least one electrode comprises a conductive polymeric material.
IN MOLD ASSEMBLY OF TWO HINGES
The present invention is directed to a 4-bar kinematic link component and method for forming the 4-bar kinematic link using a single rotary molding tool. The invention eliminates the need to form individual components of the bracket from several different tools, which will then requires additional assembly steps. The 4-bar kinematic link is formed from two different materials each having a different in mold shrinkage value. This allows for hinge pins to be formed through a base component in a way that will prevent sticking of the components together thereby allowing the parts to have it relative to one another using the hinge pin. The final component is a 4-bar kinematic link that can be used as a 4 bar link mechanism for providing motion.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR APPLYING TUBULAR SHRINK SLEEVE MATERIAL TO CONTAINERS
A machine for applying tubular film to products includes a film feed path along which a supply of continuous tubular film is fed, and a sleeve eject station at which the film tubing is cut into sleeves that are ejected onto products passing the sleeve eject station. At least one sensor is positioned along the film feed path upstream of the sleeve eject station for detecting a splice in tubular film traveling along the film feed path. A controller is configured for controlling the machine such that, upon detection of a splice in the tubular film, a defective sleeve that includes the splice thereon is ejected into a gap between successive products so as to prevent application of the defective sleeve to any product.
Roll of white heat-shrinkable polyester-based film
The invention provides a roll of a white heat-shrinkable polyester-based film containing titanium oxide which can suppress occurrence of a processing trouble of a label or the like cut out from the roll, even when widening the roll. The roll of the white heat-shrinkable polyester-based film satisfies the following requirements: (1) the length of the film is 1,000-20,000 m and the width of the film is 400-10,000 mm, (2) the heat-shrinkage ratio in a main shrinkage direction is 50-85%, (3,4) the difference between the maximum and minimum heat-shrinkage ratio in the main shrinkage direction is 0-3% among samples which are sampled in each of the width and longitudinal directions of the film, and (5,6) the difference between the maximum and minimum apparent specific gravity is 0-0.01 g/cm.sup.3 among samples which are sampled in each of the width and longitudinal directions of the film.
COMPOSITE PREFORM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, COMPOSITE CONTAINER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, AND COMPOSITE CONTAINER PRODUCT LOADED WITH BEER
[Problem] To provide a composite preform that can ensure that worsening of the appearance of a surface of a plastic member caused by near-infrared heating prior to blow molding is effectively prevented and that an inner preform is efficiently heated.
[Solution] The composite preform of the present invention includes a preform and a heat-contractive plastic member, the preform including a mouth part; a trunk part linked to the mouth part; and a bottom part linked to the trunk part, and the heat-contractive plastic member being disposed so as to surround the outside of the preform and including at least a colored layer that contains a resin material and a colorant, wherein the heat-contractive plastic member has a near-infrared transmittance of 50% or higher.
Void-containing heat-shrinkable polyester film
The present invention provides a void-containing heat-shrinkable polyester film which has satisfactory shrinkage finishing properties and printability even if productivity is improved. The void-containing heat-shrinkable polyester film is a multilayer structure having a non-foamed layer on both outer sides of the foamed layer, and by controlling the film thickness, density, and number of moles of the amorphous component on both outer sides, specific heat shrinkage characteristics and gloss can be improved.
INJECTION MOLDING APPARATUS AND METHOD TO REDUCE BIREFRINGENCE
A molding apparatus and method operation for making a molded part are provided. The molding apparatus includes a mold core extending between a generally flat lower surface and an upper surface defining a runner, a fan gate, and a part cavity for forming the molded part. The mold core includes an inner surface defining a plunger cavity extending into the mold core from the upper surface and having a uniform cross-section parallel to the upper surface and open to the gate. A plunger is slidably disposed within the plunger cavity for pulling material from the gate into the plunger cavity. A first pin extends through a first bore in the mold core to move the plunger within the plunger cavity. A hydraulic cylinder interacts with an ejector plate to move the first pin. A second pin also extends through the mold core and is movable perpendicular to the upper surface.
