HIGH MELT STRENGTH STYRENE RESIN COMPOSITION AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR
Provided by the present invention is a high melt strength styrene resin composition. The composition includes the following components proportioned according to certain parts by weight: a styrene resin or a styrene alloy, a tackifier, an antioxidant and a lubricant. Compared to the existing technology, the present invention has the following beneficial effects: 1. a random copolymer used as the tackifier in the present invention is thermodynamically compatible with the styrene resin and the alloy thereof, does not experience phase separation, and has excellent mechanical properties; 2. the random copolymer used as the tackifier in the present invention has a moderate molecular weight, and is more easily plasticized than a rubber powder, a SAN powder having a high molecular weight, a heat-resistant powder, and so on, thus having better processability, uniform thickness, and low shrinkage rate, and not frequently experiencing the problem of surface defects.

Shape Memory Products and Method For Making Them
A method for producing a heat-shrinkable product is provided. First, a polymer composition containing a polymer, a crosslinking agent and a micro-encapsulated foaming agent uniformly dispensed therein is melt mixed. The foaming agent has a peak activation temperature which is higher than a temperature of the melt mixing. Next, the polymer composition is injection molded into a molded product. This carried out at the peak activation temperature to activate the foaming agent. Then, the molded product is crosslinked within the mold.
Oriented film comprising poly(ethylene-2,5-furandicarboxylate)
An oriented film including poly(ethylene-2,5-furandicarboxylate) is produced in a process by preparing a sheet from a poly(ethylene-2,5-furandicarboxylate) resin by heat processing, which sheet has a thickness of at most 2.5 mm; allowing the sheet to cool; and stretching the cooled sheet in at least one direction with a stretch ratio of at least 4/1 at a temperature in the range of 90 to 130° C., yielding an oriented film. The oriented film has a thickness of 1 to 400 μm and a tensile strength at break of at least 100 MPa.

The disclosed 3-D are advantageous because they have low densities and low permittivities. When compared to previous 3-D structures, the present structures maintain their low permittivities over a broader range of electromagnetic frequencies. Thus, when used in communication devices such as array antennas, can provided higher communication performance in high temperature environments.
METHOD FOR FORMING A STRESS-FREE MULTILAYER PVC SHEET MATERIAL
A method for forming a multilayer plastic sheet material is disclosed, where a first polymer mass is melted under pressure and is passed through an extruder head at a specified discharge rate in the form of a plastic strand in sheet form that is provided with one or more layers so that a multilayer plastic strand is formed. This is passed to two or more rolls of a finishing stand that processes the multilayer plastic strand into a sheet. After the plastic strand in sheet form leaves the extruder head, it is first passed between a top roll and a bottom roll of a roughing stand. The speed of the rolls of the finishing stand and the rolls of the roughing stand is synchronized with the discharge rate of the plastic strand in sheet form from the extruder head, so that the plastic strand is processed without stress.
Non conductive rubber hose
A non-conductive rubber hose is provided exhibiting lower conductivity compared to conventional EPDM hose, and reduced stiffness compared to conventional non-conductive thermoplastic hose. Provided herein are also polypropiolactone films having certain biocontent and compostability, as well as certain mechanical and physical properties. Methods and precursor formulations for forming advanced polishing pads by use of an additive manufacturing process
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to advanced polishing pads with tunable chemical, material and structural properties, and new methods of manufacturing the same. According to one or more embodiments of the disclosure, it has been discovered that a polishing pad with improved properties may be produced by an additive manufacturing process, such as a three-dimensional (3D) printing process. Embodiments of the present disclosure thus may provide an advanced polishing pad that has discrete features and geometries, formed from at least two different materials that include functional polymers, functional oligomers, reactive diluents, addition polymer precursor compounds, catalysts, and curing agents. For example, the advanced polishing pad may be formed from a plurality of polymeric layers, by the automated sequential deposition of at least one polymer precursor composition followed by at least one curing step, wherein each layer may represent at least one polymer composition, and/or regions of different compositions. Embodiments of the disclosure further provide a polishing pad with polymeric layers that may be interpenetrating polymer networks.
