The curved sidewall may include a protrusion.
SYRINGE WITH ANTIMICROBIAL PROPERTIES
Examples herein provide a syringe comprising a fluid reservoir and a male connector comprising a fluid flow channel in fluid communication with the fluid reservoir. The male connector including a male luer having a tapered sealing surface configured to mate with a female tapered surface of a female connector to form a substantially fluid-tight seal. The male luer has a distal tip with a recess defined by a recess surface that is distal to the tapered sealing surface. A water-soluble antimicrobial composition is disposed on the recess surface. The male luer is configured such that, when the male connector is mated with a female connector to form a substantially fluid-tight seal, a cavity is formed between the female tapered surface and the recess surface.
APPLICATOR AND SYSTEM FOR ADMINISTERING AND DISPENSING FLOWABLE PHARMACEUTICAL PREPARATIONS
A transdermal delivery apparatus for delivering specific desired quantities of cream-base medicament or any flowable composition is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a revolving platform, a threaded screw-complex, a house, an applicator pad, and a safety cap. The revolving platform produces audible and tactile sensations upon interaction with projections from the house. The threaded screw-complex interacts with an elevator to transport the medicament upwards. The house confines an inner chamber to store the medicament. The applicator pad comprises a center outlet where the composition exits the chamber.
SELF-ORIENTING SYRINGE AND SYRINGE INTERFACE
A syringe includes a barrel having a distal end, a proximal end, and a sidewall extending therebetween along a longitudinal axis. At least one engagement member protrudes from a terminal portion of the sidewall in a proximal direction along the longitudinal axis. The at least one engagement member tapers axially in a direction from the distal end toward the proximal end. The at least one engagement member is configured for engagement with a locking mechanism of a fluid injector to releasably lock the syringe with the fluid injector. A taper of the at least one engagement member is configured to rotationally guide the syringe into alignment with the locking mechanism and axially eject the syringe upon rotation of the syringe. The locking mechanism operatively engages the at least one engagement member regardless of an orientation of the syringe about the longitudinal axis relative to the injector.
Assembly For An Autoinjector Device
An assembly for an autoinjector device, the assembly including a syringe support for supporting a syringe by limiting forward axial movement of the syringe relative to the syringe support, and a guard element attachable to the syringe support by an attachment so that the guard element is axially restrained both axially forwardly and axially rearwardly relative to the syringe support by the attachment. Forwardly directed axial loads received by the guard element are transmitted to the syringe support via the attachment.
Injection device
An injection device for injecting a solid dose formulation into a human or animal body, the injection device comprising an actuator (10) having a cassette mounting portion (14); a cassette holder (20) having a cassette storage portion; and a cassette selectively movable between the cassette storage portion and the cassette mounting portion, wherein, the cassette (34) comprises a solid dose formulation and the actuator is receivable in the cassette holder to selectively move the cassette between the cassette storage portion and the cassette mounting portion.
MEDICAMENT DELIVERY DEVICE
The present invention relates to a medicament delivery device for delivering a number of predetermined amounts of medicament, comprising a body having a proximal and an opposite distal end and extending along a longitudinal axis (L); a medicament container (20) arranged inside said body; a driving mechanism arranged inside said body and configured to act on said medicament container; a manually movable activation member (102) arranged on the distal end the body; a biased actuator member (64) arranged to be movable along the longitudinal axis and through the manually movable activation member (102), said biased actuator member being configured to protrude a predetermined distance from the distal end of the manually movable activation member and configured to interact with said driving mechanism when the biased actuator member is displaced said predetermined distance towards the proximal end of the body for delivering a predetermined amount of medicament; and an actuator guide member (90) arranged in the body and configured to interact with the manually movable activation member (102) and with the biased actuator member (64) such that said actuator guide member (90) can be held in a position within the body and released from said position after a predetermined amount of medicament is delivered; wherein the actuator guide member (90) comprises at least one second guide element (92) adapted to interact with blocking surfaces in at least one group of guide surfaces (76) arranged on the outer circumferential surface of the biased actuator member (64) if said biased actuator member is operated towards the proximal end of the body during displacement of the biased actuator member (64) from the distal end of the manually movable activation member or if said biased actuator member is released during displacement of the biased actuator member (64) towards the proximal end of the body.
