Medical injector with compliance tracking and monitoring

A system includes a medicament delivery device and a container configured to receive at least a portion of the medicament delivery device. The medicament delivery device includes an actuator and a first electronic circuit system. The actuator is configured to initiate delivery of a medicament into a body when the actuator is moved from a first position to a second position. The first electronic circuit system is configured to output a first electronic signal when the actuator is moved from the first position to the second position. The container includes a second electronic circuit system configured to receive the first electronic signal. The second electronic circuit system is configured to output a second electronic signal associated with the first electronic signal.

POSITION DETERMINATION DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR DETERMINING AND REGISTERING AN INJECTION LOCATION

The present invention relates to a position determination device (100) (and system) for determining and registering an injection location of a liquid drug administered on a body part of a user, wherein the position determination device (100) (and system) comprises a position determination element (110) configured to provide a position signal representing a current location of the position determination device (100), and one or more processing units (150) configured to derive data representing an actual injection location based on the user in response to a current location being determined by the position determination unit (110).

RESPIRATORY DROPLET DELIVERY DEVICE WITH FACE SEAL AND METHODS OF USE

A droplet delivery device including a face seal within a cover of the droplet delivery device to seal over an ejector mechanism when the cover couples to a mouthpiece.

Audible indicator

The present disclosure relates to an audible indicator for use with a drug delivery device, the audible indicator including a spring element configured to reside in one of a relaxed state and a biased state, wherein the audible indicator includes a rotatable element coupled to the spring element, and wherein the spring element releases stored energy to rotate the rotatable element such that the rotatable element impacts a surface to generate an audible signal when the spring element changes from the biased state into the relaxed state.

Audible indicator

The disclosure relates to an audible indicator in combination with a drug delivery device having a resilient force member capable of resting in either of two states. In a biased state, the resilient force member is biased and stores energy and in a relaxed state, the resilient force member is relaxed. The resilient force member releases the stored energy when changing from the biased state into the relaxed state, thereby generating an audible signal, wherein the resilient force member is supported by a retaining element in the biased state in order to prevent transition into the relaxed state.

Drug delivery device with audible indicator spring

A drug delivery device including a case adapted to hold a medicament container, a plunger disposed within the case and slidable from a proximal position into a distal position for delivering a medicament from the medicament container, and an audible indicator that is arranged within a case pocket lateral to the plunger and that is in operative connection with the plunger. The audible indicator includes at least one indicator spring and at least one locking element, where the indicator spring is biased by the locking element, and the indicator spring relaxes due to a release of the locking element by a movement of the plunger.

INTERACTIVE SPACER FOR RESPIRATORY DEVICE

A respiratory device for dispensing medication provided comprising a mask for covering a patient's mouth and/or nose, a medication dispenser for housing medication to be received by a patient upon activation of a button via depression of a lever coupled to a spacer body of the an interactive spacer. The button located on the dispenser. The interactive spacer eccentrically located and spacing the mask from the medication dispenser, the spacer comprises a power supply end an interactive controller for providing at least one of sound and light upon activation of first switch located on the device.

SYSTEMS, DEVICES AND METHODS FOR RENDERING KEY RESPIRATORY MEASUREMENTS ACCESSIBLE TO MOBILE DIGITAL DEVICES
20180263528 · 2018-09-20 ·

System and methods for rendering key respiratory measurements accessible to hand-held mobile electronic devices with acoustic input capabilities. A whistle having a pre-determined correlation (between through-flowing airflow per unit time and frequency of acoustic emissions from the whistle) may generate or transmit information or signals. A processor in the mobile electronic device may receive the information or signals, determine a baseline acoustic context, and/or record samples. The processor may determine a frequency value for an acoustic signal (based on the recorded samples), determine an expiratory airflow rate value (based on the frequency value), and determine a respiratory parameter (based on the expiratory airflow rate value). The processor may also determine whether the acoustic signal corresponds to a whistle signal that is generated by a user performing a forceful exhalation through the whistle. The processor may generate and render spirometric information.

GAS FLOW INDICATOR

A gas flow indicator for medical equipment is described which is configured to provide an audible indication of gas flow. The medical equipment may be in the form of a respiratory care device, an airway management device, a heat moisture exchanger, an oxygen enrichment device or a breathing mask.

Inhalation device with feedback system

The invention provides an inhalation device for enabling a user to inhale at a desired inspiratory flow rate and/or pressure, comprising a feedback system configured to indicate to a user by means of a signal during an inhalation maneuver whether an inhalation parameter, such as the inspiratory flow rate, is within a predefined target range. The signal may be an optical or a non-optical signal, such as a light signal, an acoustic signal, or a tactile signal.
