An aerosol provision system for generating an aerosol, wherein the aerosol provision system is configured to wirelessly transmit a feedback signal to an audio output device. The feedback signal is configured for controlling the audio output device, which may be a loudspeaker, headphone, or earphone. In some cases, the feedback signal is configured to be wirelessly transmitted by the aerosol provision system in response to a predetermined event being determined as being satisfied by the aerosol provision system. In this way, the feedback signal can used as a means to ultimately provide the user, via the audio output device, an indication of a current status of the aerosol provision system.

DEVICES FOR INJECTING MEDICAMENTS AND METHODS OF USE

A device for injecting a medicament is provided. The device has a housing with a container within it which can hold a medicament. At its proximal end the container has a needle and a stopper. The device includes a plunger which at one end can engage the stopper. At the opposite end, the plunger can engage a first resilient member to move the stopper within the container to inject the medicament from the container. The device includes a collar with distal and proximal ends, the distal end engaging with a carriage and causing its rotation and the proximal end engaging with a second resilient member. The second resilient member can engage with a skin sensor which has distal and proximal ends. At the proximal end, the skin sensor can contact an injection site. The housing has a cap which can reduce or prevent movement of the skin sensor.

A reduced pressure treatment system is provided that includes a canister that is fluidly connected to a tissue site and is configured to receive fluid drawn from the tissue site under the influence of a reduced pressure. A reduced pressure source provides the reduced pressure and is fluidly connected to the tissue site by a fluid communication path, which may include a source conduit, the canister, and a target conduit. A sensing device communicates with the source conduit and is configured to sense a pressure in the source conduit. A valve communicates with the source conduit and is configured to vent the reduced pressure. A processing unit communicates with the sensing device and the valve and is configured to open the valve for a selected amount of time, determine a decay of reduced pressure, and determine a fill status of the canister based on the decay of reduced pressure.

The present invention relates to a torsion spring based automatic injection device for apportioning set doses of a liquid drug and which injection device is provided with an End-of-Dose feedback mechanism providing a user with an audible signal once the set dose has been injected. During injection, the scale drum rotates back to its “zero” position under influence of the torsion spring. This rotation is halted shortly before reaching the “zero” position by stopping means. The scale drum is thereafter only allowed to continue rotation and thus reach the “zero” position once the torque applied to the scale drum by the torsion spring surpasses a threshold value.

The actuation mechanism (30) is configured to move the leading portion (42) of the plunger (40) forwardly relative to a syringe (20) so as to express medicament from the syringe (20). The trigger arrangement (15) is moveable in use to release the actuation mechanism (30). The indicator (50) is responsive to the forward movement of the plunger (40) and is configured to provide an audible and/or tactile and/or visual indication of the end of dose when the plunger (40) reaches or approaches its forwardmost position.
