TRASH COMPACTOR
A trash compactor may include a frame, a cavity, a trash receptacle, a platen movable to compress trash collected in the trash receptacle, a set of linkages and a drive mechanism configured to drive said platen up and down, the drive mechanism further configured as one of the link elements, and a platen guide mechanism configured to restrict the motion of the platen in an up and down manner.
Compactor for bulk material
Compactor (100) suitable for compacting and wrapping bulk material and suitable for transportation on public roads. The compactor comprises a bunker (200) for reception of the bulk material to be compacted. The bunker (200) exhibits a front end adjacent to a baler unit (300), and a rear end facing the supply of bulk material. The compactor (100) exhibits a longitudinal axis (L) coinciding with the transport direction of the compactor (100) on a road. The bunker (200) comprises two substantially mirror-symmetric foldable first (201A) and second (201B) bunker section mounted to a frame (207) in a pivotal manner in a vertical direction about a horizontal axis extending perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis (L). An end plate (205A; 205B) is mounted pivotal at the rear of the bunker (200) serving as anchoring means and bulk collector means. The first and second bunker sections (201A; 201B) are mounted mutually displaced to the frame (207) to enable one bunker section (201B) to be inserted into the other bunker section (201A) to reduce width and volume before transport of the compactor (100) on public roads.
PORTABLE ROLLER COMPACTOR
A portable roller compactor for compacting waste located in a container, which is open on the top, has a frame-like basic structure and an articulated arm, one end of which is supported by the basic structure, and the other, free end of which supports a roller compactor that essentially can be rotated about a horizontal axis of rotation. The articulated arm of the roller compactor is pivotably attached to a sliding carriage, which is mounted on the frame-like base structure and can be moved in a longitudinal direction.
COMPACTING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A compacting system includes a container, a ram extendable into the container to compact waste, and a gate that is selectively deployable to close off the opening in the container to prevent the fallback of waste into the loading area. The system also includes at least one sensor for providing information as to an actual level of waste within the container.
A Standalone Waste Compaction Device
A standalone waste compacting device includes an enclosure having a removable bin; a cover section on the enclosure incorporating at least one solar power unit, at least one storage battery and control unit, at least one inwardly pivoting user access flap having a dual locking control mechanism, at least one recessed foot pedal mechanism for opening the access flap, a detachable independent compaction unit comprising a scissor linkage and lever linkage system, and at least one service access means.
Container packer system and method
A container packer system includes a transfer base, which receives a container packer adapted for movement longitudinally between retracted and extended positions with respect to the transfer base. The transfer base includes a power subsystem with a motor or engine driving a hydraulic pump for powering hydraulic piston-and-cylinder units of the system, including a container packer piston-and-cylinder unit for hydraulically extending and retracting the container packer. The container packer generally encloses an interior adapted for receiving bulk material for transfer to a transport container, which can comprise a standard shipping container, a trailer or some other bulk material receptacle. The container packer includes a push blade assembly longitudinally movably mounted in its interior and actuated by a push blade piston-and-cylinder unit.
Adapter to unload rear loading container into side loading compaction body
An adapter to allow a sideloading refuse collection body to empty a rear loading container having trunnions. The adapter has a pair of spaced apart trunnion pockets to receive opposing trunnions of the container. A pair of lock arms on the adapter can be lowered against the tops of opposing sides of the container to lock the container in the trunnion pockets and against a stabilizer which engages the front wall of the container. The adapter includes a guide plate aligned with and extending from the front wall of the container. Lift arms on the collection body are joined to opposing sides of the adapter.
Portable Compaction Apparatus for Compacting Trash and Other Materials
Embodiments of the apparatus of this disclosure can comprise a portable compactor apparatus for compacting material in a container, wherein the portable compactor apparatus comprises a. At least one base support, b. A linear actuator attached to the at least one base support, the linear actuator having an extendable and retractable shaft, the shaft having a proximal end within the actuator and a distal end, c. A compression head connected to the distal end of the shaft, and d. Control means for controlling extension and retraction of the shaft,
The container having a top lip portion, the base support positioned on the top lip portion, the linear activator having a first position and a second position, in the first position the shaft is fully retracted into the linear actuator, in the second position the shaft is extended further below the top lip portion of the container.
