The compacting unit (3) is configured to compact the receptacle (G) while the receptacle (G) is transported in the insertion direction (E). A post-compacting unit (5) is downstream of the compacting unit (3) in the insertion direction (E) and has at least one second advancing device (6) for transporting the at least one receptacle (G) through the post-compacting unit (5). The post-compacting unit (5) is configured to compact the at least one receptacle (G) further. Positions of the at least one first advancing device (4) of the compacting unit (3) and the at least one second advancing device (6) of the post-compacting unit (5) are changeable with respect to one another in the insertion direction (E).

The present invention relates to a fraud detection system for a reverse vending machine, the system comprising: a detector adapted to detect at least one container entered into the reverse vending machine; a compactor load sensor adapted to measure load of a compactor of the reverse vending machine during operation, wherein the compactor is adapted to compact entered containers downstream of said detector; and a compactor load sensor monitoring device configured to determine whether the detected at least one container is compacted as expected based on the load measured by the compactor load sensor.

RECYCLING BIN WITH MECHANISM FOR COMPACTING INDIVIDUAL CONTAINERS

A fully integrated, low maintenance, manually operated beverage container compacting system featuring a free-standing, user powered, enclosed, beverage container compactor and storage receptacle. The compactor includes a self retracting puncture mechanism to release pressure due to air and liquids in sealed containers prior to their compacting. The storage system includes double trap doors with gaskets to create a sealed storage receptacle that reduces odors. A first top trap door includes a rubber gasket to prevent liquids from being expelled out of the compactor; and a bottom trap door is configured for capturing escaped liquids. The bottom trap door is actuated into an open state at an end of a crushing stroke to drop the container into the storage receptacle after captured liquids have drained into a liquid capture container for improved cleanliness. A self reset mechanism renders the system to an initial state for a next user after compacting.

TROLLEY, WASTE MODULE AND SYSTEM FOR COLLECTING WASTE

A trolley for collecting waste includes a housing having a main waste chamber for receiving waste, and wheels attached to a bottom wall of the housing. The housing has at least one module seating, each configured to receive a waste module for collecting waste. Each module seating includes fasteners configured to releasably couple to a waste module. The waste module includes a module housing having at its top surface a top opening for inserting waste, and having a module waste chamber for receiving waste inserted through the top opening. The module housing includes second connection means at its outside surface, which are configured to releasably interact with first connection means of a trolley for collecting waste. Also disclosed herein is a system that includes the trolley and at least one waste module inserted into the at least one module seating.

In use, the pusher (22) inverts the capsule. The stepped profile significantly reduces the force required to invert the capsule enabling larger or multiple capsules to be inverted.
