Device for producing concrete slabs
In a device for producing concrete slabs, a mold lower part is inserted into a frame secured via retaining braces to receiving areas of guiding columns oriented along an insertion direction and having, above the mold lower part, a structural loading device movable along the guiding columns and having, on the side facing the mold lower part, a mold upper part with one or more pressure plates inserted or insertable into one or more recesses of the mold lower part, the structural loading device being connected to the pressure plates via pressure rams. An upper guide element arranged between the structural loading device and the pressure rams interacts with a lower guide element arranged on the retaining brace such that, during the production of concrete slabs, the structural loading device is constantly guided relative to the mold lower part on a plane perpendicular to the insertion direction.
Thermally-conductive hot press assembly
A hot press assembly is provided that comprises an upper die plate having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. The hot press assembly further includes a punch with an attachment surface that is positioned adjacent to the second surface of the upper die plate and a pressing surface that is positioned opposite the attachment surface. The hot press assembly also includes one or more conductive inserts that extend through the punch from the attachment surface to a predetermined distance away from the pressing surface, where each conductive insert has a thermal conductivity greater than a thermal conductivity of the punch. Methods of manufacturing a brake pad using the hot press assembly are also provided.

MANUFACTURING PROCESS OF A STONE PROVIDED WITH LIGHTING FOR FLOORS OR CARRIAGEWAYS
Manufacturing process of a stone providing for the following steps: positioning a die and a base platform under punches of a press, filling cavities of the die with a sand layer, placing a tube on the sand, actuating the actuation means to actuate the punches from the idle position to the operating position so that each punch presses the tube in the sand and presses the sand in the cavities of the die, actuating the actuation means to raise the punches, placing the stones in a drying station, extracting the solidified sand inside the tube from each stone, and placing a lighting device in the tube.

ENHANCED RELEASE COMPRESSION SHOE FOR USE WITH CONCRETE PRODUCT FORMING MACHINES
A compression shoe for use on a concrete products forming machine comprises a main body and a plated layer overlaid on the main body. The main body is configured to be slidingly received within a mold cavity of a concrete products mold. The plated layer overlaid on the main body of the compression shoe comprises a uniform electroless nickel (Ni), phosphorus (P), and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) nano dispersion coating to effect enhanced material release characteristics by preventing the build-up of material on the compression shoes and enhancing their wear characteristics.
Multicomponent and Multilayer Compacted Tablets
Horizontally layered tablets, methods of making the horizontally layered tablets, and tableting equipment capable of producing the horizontally layered tablets are described. The horizontally layered tablets can be produced by simultaneously feeding a segregated flow of different compositions that form the respective layers of the tablet.
