A method of clinching or piercing workpiece sheets includes changing a position of a punch and/or die based on a sensed workpiece characteristic.
Path-controlled press having a sliding block
A path-controlled press, with at least one drive shaft having a driver that is eccentric relative to a shaft axis, and a sliding block, wherein the sliding block is driven by the driver to perform a forcibly actuated movement During the execution of a pressure stroke, the sliding block is guided on at least one sliding surface on the pressure side in relation to a pressure-side surface of a slide guide. The sliding block has a sliding surface on the pulling side opposite the sliding surface on the pressure side, which is guided on a surface of the slide guide on the pulling side. The sliding surface on the pressure side of the sliding block has a concave or convex curvature. The sliding surface on the pulling side of the sliding block has another respective concave or convex curvature.
ELECTRIC LIFTING APPARATUS AND ROLL PRESS MACHINE
A lifting apparatus of the present invention includes: a ball screw; a frame configured to support bearings for the ball screw; an electric motor supported by the frame and having an output shaft being rotatable; and a rotational force transferring mechanism configured to transfer a rotational force of the output shaft as a rotational force of a threaded shaft of the ball screw. A first moving body providing a first sliding surface inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to a plane including a direction of an axis is fixed to a nut of the ball screw. A second moving body is arranged to be movable linearly in a direction perpendicular to the direction of the axis with respect to the frame, has a second sliding surface configured to be slidably movable with respect to the first sliding surface, and is caused to move linearly in the direction perpendicular to the direction of the axis by a slidably movement between the first sliding surface and the second sliding surface when the nut and the first moving body moves linearly in the direction of the axis. The threaded shaft extends through the first moving body in the direction of the axis, and the pair of bearings is arranged on both sides of the first moving body.
Adjustable crankshaft eccentric for bodymaker ram stroke change
A bodymaker includes a totaling crankshaft including an offset crank, the adjustable eccentric assembly including an eccentric shell assembly. The eccentric shell assembly is operatively coupled to the crankshaft crank. A primary connection rod is operatively coupled to the eccentric shell assembly. A ram assembly is operatively coupled to the primary connection rod. The ram assembly includes an elongated ram. In this configuration, the ram reciprocates over a stroke that is a function of the orientation of the eccentric shell assembly. Further, in an exemplary embodiment, the ram assembly is structured to adjust the range of the ram body stroke through a die pack without substantially decoupling a number of substantial components.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING AND ADJUSTING SLIDING BLOCK OF MULTIPOINT CRANK PRESS
The present invention discloses a device and method for installing and adjusting a sliding block of a multipoint crank press. The device comprises a crank, a connecting rod with an end provided with a U-shaped notch, a sliding block and an eccentric pin shaft micro-adjustment mechanism. The eccentric pin shaft micro-adjustment mechanism is installed at the joint between the connecting rod and the sliding block. The crank, the connecting rod and the sliding block of the multipoint press are normally machined and installed through a classical process, so that the sliding block of the multipoint press runs to a bottom dead center. A gap among mechanisms is eliminated through the loading by a hydraulic loader. The position of one set of crank, connecting rod and sliding block mechanism is taken as a reference, and then the eccentric positions and directions of the eccentric pin shafts at other adjustment positions are finely adjusted, thus realizing high-precision assembly and operation of the multipoint press.
Powder press and a feed housing having preferably a plurality of stamps which are movable for a transverse press
Powder press having preferably stamps which are movable for a transverse press in a feed housing. The stamps partially delimit a hollow chamber of a matrix in the feed housing and are able to be coupled to a press device by one connector piece each. An adjustable positioning device, which is formed from a wedge arrangement having a stop surface and placed crosswise to the moving direction of the stamp, is allocated to the respective stamp for determining the pressing position thereof. The wedge arrangement includes at least one wedge which is adjustable crosswise to the moving direction of the stamp and has the stop surface which contacts a stop surface at the stamp. Such a wedge arrangement can achieve very accurate pressing positions of the stamp, and extremely stable positioning of the stamp to be pressed with high pressure.
Method and device for closed-loop control of ram movement and ram forces in multi-point servo hybrid presses
A method for the control of a ram movement and ram forces of multi-point servo hybrid presses, where the positions, speeds and forces to drive the ram can be controlled independently of each other by the servo motor, which is assigned to each pressure point or each group of pressure points, for the main drive for the ram movement in the main function and the hydraulic pressure cushions, which are separately assigned to each pressure point of the ram, in an auxiliary function, to influence process-induced position and force settings of the ram in a combinatory interaction to achieve an active control of draw depth and tilt.
ECCENTRIC SECOND CONNECTING ROD SUBASSEMBLY
A connection rod coupling assembly includes a settable shape mounting second component having a lateral, primary axis and a bearing assembly including a bearing assembly body. The bearing assembly body includes a substantially cylindrical outer surface and a center axis. The bearing assembly body is coupled to the settable shape mounting second component in a non-aligned configuration. That is, the bearing assembly body center axis is offset from the settable shape mounting second component primary axis. Thus, the position of the bearing assembly body center axis is adjustable by repositioning the settable shape mounting second component relative to a settable shape mounting first component on a swing lever. The adjustment of the bearing assembly body, in turn, adjusts the range of the ram assembly and the ram assembly body.
Writing instrument compressing device
A writing instrument compressing device includes a base having an underside mounted to multiple raiser pieces to have the base separate from a carrying surface by a distance in a vertical direction. The base includes an elongate hole that is delimited by two opposite sidewalls each including tooth ridges and the tooth troughs alternately arranged. A handle rod is pivoted to an end of the base to drive reciprocal movement of a pusher. A retainer is reciprocally movable along the elongate hole of the base and functions to clamp and fix a writing instrument body or a tool. The retainer is provided, on a bottom thereof, with a screw rod extending through the elongate hole of the base. A tightening assembly includes a nut and a rotation bar horizontally penetrating through the nut and having two ends selectively moved close to the nut.
