Tie bar tensioning system
A tie bar tensioning system that allows a bending machine operator to removably couple an upper end of a bend die post of the bending machine to a base of the bending machine via a tie bar, and to lock the tie bar in a tensioned position. The tensioning system includes a stationary member and a rotatable member, each with aligned tie bar passages for receiving the one end of the tie bar. Both the stationary member and the rotatable member include respective engagement surfaces, with the rotatable member engagement surface being rotatable relative to the stationary member engagement surface between a released position and a tensioned position whereat the rotatable member is selectively lockable. The rotation of the rotatable member with the rotatable member engagement surface in engagement with the stationary engagement surface longitudinally displacing the rotatable member relative to the stationary member.
Press machine
A press machine includes a press frame, a crankshaft having a first eccentric portion, at least one crankshaft motor connected to the crankshaft, a ram, an upper tool section supported by the ram and a lower tool section fixedly attached to the press frame, a linkage type ram drive mechanism connected to the crankshaft and including at least one pivot support pin, and a ram adjustment mechanism including a pivot support member supporting the at least one pivot support pin. Wherein the at least one secondary ram drive link is pivotally connected at a first end to the at least one pivot support pin and at a second end to a first end of the at least one main ram drive link. The at least one main ram drive link is pivotally connected at a second end to the ram. The at least one ram drive connecting link is rotatably supported by the at least one first eccentric portion of the crankshaft at a first end and pivotally connected at a second end to the at least one main ram drive link at a point between the first and second ends of the at least one main ram drive link.
Press machine
A press machine includes a press frame having first and second portions, a crankshaft, a crankshaft, a ram, a ram drive mechanism supported by the first portion of the press frame at a primary force application location, a ram guide linearly guiding the ram, and supported by the second portion of the press frame at a ram guide location; and a working tool including an upper tool section and a lower tool section configured for the processing of a workpiece. The upper tool section is fixedly attached to the ram and the lower tool section is fixedly attached to the press frame at a lower tool location. The primary force application location has a first working position during the processing of the workpiece, and a second resting position when the workpiece is not being processed. The ram guide location has a first working position during the processing of the workpiece, and a second resting position when the workpiece is not being processed. The difference between the working position and the resting position of the ram guide location is less than the difference between the working position and the resting position of the primary force application location.
C-FRAME PRESS
A C-frame press having a press frame, a first ram device, an opposed second ram device, and a drive device for moving at least one of the ram devices in a pressing direction. The press frame has first and second bending bars connected to each other by a tension column and a pressure column which together define a frame plane extending parallel to the pressing direction. The tension column is connected to each of the first and second bending bars by a bearing which is torque-free about an axis which extends perpendicularly to the frame plane. The first and second ram devices are each supported on the press frame by a bearing which is torque-free about an axis which extends perpendicularly to the frame plane. At least the at least one movable ram device is guided in a linear guide which extends parallel to the pressing direction.
Press
A press for producing a pellet from powdered material comprises a press frame and a pressing unit arranged therein, at least one upper press punch and/or at least one lower press punch, as well as at least one receptacle for powdered material. At least one upper drive unit has at least one upper drive motor for moving the upper press punch and/or at least one lower drive unit having at least one lower drive motor for moving the lower press punch and/or the receptacle. The at least one upper drive unit acts laterally offset on the at least one upper press punch via an upper force transmission element and/or the at least one lower drive unit acts laterally offset on the at least one lower press punch and/or the receptacle via a lower force transmission element. At least one upper spring element is arranged between the upper force transmission element and the at least one upper drive unit and/or at least one lower spring element is arranged between the lower force transmission element and the at least one lower drive unit.
