PRESS MACHINE AND METHOD OF DISPLAYING OPERATING STATE OF PRESS MACHINE
A press machine is a press machine configured to press a workpiece. The press machine includes a display that displays a state display image which extends in a band shape and indicates an operating state of the press machine during a predetermined period of time up to date. The display displays time series variation in the operating state during the predetermined period of time by variation in a color of the state display image in the band shape in an extending direction.
PELLET MILL ROLL TEMPERATURE SENSING
A roll assembly temperature sensing system for a pellet mill includes: a thermal sensor (160); and a pellet mill roll assembly rotatably disposed in a rotor assembly. The pellet mill roll (140) assembly includes: a roll shaft; a bearing disposed circumferentially around the roll shaft; and a seal (150) disposed between an end of the bearing and the rotor assembly. The rotor assembly includes an area defining a die cavity adjacent to the seal (150). The thermal sensor (160) is disposed within the die cavity, and is configured to detect a temperature of the seal resulting from heat conducted from the bearing.
PRESS MACHINE AND METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING ABNORMALITY PRESS MACHINE
A press machine includes: a press control unit that controls ascending/descending motion of the slide; and an abnormality diagnostic unit configured to perform abnormality diagnosis of the press machine based on data from a sensor provided in the press machine and to output a result of the abnormality diagnosis. The abnormality diagnostic unit is configured to perform the abnormality diagnosis, based on the data acquired from the sensor while the slide moves at a predetermined speed between a bottom dead point and a top dead point in a press-no-load state.
Apparatus and method for detecting failure in a mechanical press
A semiconductor device is located between a first die-set part and a second die-set part of a press, and the first and second die-set parts are moved relative to each other for punching and shaping the semiconductor device therebetween. At least one parameter is monitored with at least one sensor attached to the first die-set part and/or the second die-set part at different positions of the first die-set part when it is moving relative to the second die-set part. Variations of the at least one parameter at different relative positions of the first and second die-set parts are compared, and a failure is determined to have occurred when the present variation of the parameter is different from its expected variation during normal operation of the press when there is no failure.
Control facility for a DC link converter and DC link converter
A control facility for a DC link converter includes a power regulator, which determines, based on an actual power determined at least partially at the feed converter, a power-based desired moment component for a kinetic energy store. The invention also relates to a DC link converter controlled by the control facility and to a forming machine, such as a press, with a DC link converter controlled by the control facility.
Systems and methods for controlling manufacturing processes
In one embodiment, a method for controlling a manufacturing process can include obstructing a part receiving path of a press station with a part detection fixture. The part detection fixture can include a moveable contact member and a target body that moves in response to motion of the moveable contact member. The moveable contact member of the part detection fixture can obstruct the part receiving path such that the target body of the part detection fixture is positioned in a dissenting state. The target body of the part detection fixture can be positioned in an assenting state coincident with contact between the moveable contact member of the part detection fixture and the workpiece. Image data of the target body of the part detection fixture can be detected with a vision system. The press station can be actuated when the image data is indicative of the assenting state.
ERGONOMIC HEAT PRESS
A heat press for decorating substrates includes a support frame, a lower platen assembly supported on the support frame, and a linkage assembly having at least an upper link arm pivotally coupled with the support frame for movement to and between first and second positions. An upper platen assembly is coupled with the support frame by the linkage assembly for movement relative to the lower platen assembly to and between an open condition away from the lower platen assembly, and a closed condition adjacent the lower platen assembly, as the upper link arm is moved to and between the first and second positions. A linear actuator cooperates with the linkage assembly to further move the upper platen assembly in the closed condition in a direction to clamp an upper platen against a lower platen by moving an actuator rod from an extended position toward a retracted position.
PRESS MACHINE AND OPERATION SETTING METHOD OF PRESS MACHINE
A press machine includes a display that displays a plurality of images, and a processor that generates a plurality of images corresponding to a slide operation and a movement operation. The plurality of images include a first image having an annular shape, a second image having an arc shape, and a third image. A first region of the second image represents a movement time required for the movement operation, a third region represents a stop time required for a slide stop process, and a second region represents a delay time until the slide stop process starts after the movement time elapses. The processor displays the third image on the display as a determination element for determining whether the slide operation and the movement operation are settable in a relationship between the slide operation and the movement operation based on an input from the user interface.
SLIDE MOTION CONTROL APPARATUS FOR MECHANICAL PRESS
A slide motion control apparatus for a mechanical press comprising: a slide which is disposed so as to be relatively vertically movable with respect to a driven body to which a drive force is transmitted through a con rod of the mechanical press; a relative position commander that outputs a relative position command indicating a relative position of the slide with respect to the driven body; a relative position detector that detects a relative position of the slide with respect to the driven body, and outputs a relative position detecting signal indicating the detected relative position; a servomotor; a drive mechanism that relatively moves the slide with respect to the driven body by a drive force of the servomotor; and a controller that controls the servomotor based on a relative position command signal output from the relative position commander, and the relative position detecting signal output from the relative position detector.
CONTROL SYSTEM, PRESS MACHINE, AND CONTROL METHOD FOR PRESS MACHINE
A control system includes a load detector, a determination unit, and a drive control unit. The load detector detects a load of a slide. The load of the slide includes a positive load due to a pressing force of the slide during pressing and a negative load at the time of a breakthrough. The determination unit determines whether to execute emergency stopping of the slide based on the positive load and the negative load detected by the load detector. The drive control unit controls the driving of the slide based on the determination result of the determination unit.
